I hope this helps someone so you don't waste your time like I have. I am regrettably returning this reel. The quality looks excellent. Unfortunately I never got to install or use it. Neither Amazon nor the manufacturer explain that if you plan to ceiling/i-beam mount this reel, it is only really intended for completely flat installations and only perpendicular to the beam [Unless you build or buy additional components]I have a 1:12 pitch on my building roof. That is as flat as a roof can possibly be and still have a pitch to it. I contacted the manufacturer to ask what mount they recommend in my application and after taking me to "air reel school" the gentleman finally replied with "well as long as it is only a slight angle you should be ok with MR1". Which turns out not to be the case.If you mount this with their setup the way it is, there will be 70 plus pounds over your head at an angle while you pull on a hose with the force working against the pitch. The mounting holes in the reel itself are drilled in a rectangular bolt pattern...not square. So if you wanted to turn it around to try to alleviate some of the stress induced by mounting perpendicular to the beam you would need a strut setup or an additional fabricated adapter...Not well thought out.There was no documentation on Amazon nor could I locate any on their website in advance of purchase. The only thing that shows this is a *VERY small 1 page install diagram which came with the mounting bracket...which if it was made readily available in advance of purchase would have prevented all this.
