No weird taste.
Took these on vacation. Easy to pack, they stand up with just a small amount of water in them. No funky taste. Great for taking into the airport and filling up after you get through security. Easy to take on hikes.

I would recommend
We are hiking for two weeks and need an extra water bottle. These do exactly what I want them to do. They are a good prince. I wish they were a little bigger, but I knonthis brand does have larger sizes

Convenient
Bought 2 collapsible bottles for travel. They are so much better than the other plastic bottles. We took them on a cruise ship. We used them all the time. Highly recommend.

These were great! We took them on a 3 day, difficult hike and they were super handy. It was nice to have a separate bottle at the end of the day besides a camelback. They fold up easily to store when not in use.
