These are great cups. The main photo doesn't do them justice, so I uploaded a bunch more photos. The main photo looks a little squished top to bottom. The actual cups are less fat and wide than this looks, but the style is still consistent and the difference isn't too much (I like the real ones better than ones that theoretically look like this image)I like porcelain with some thickness and solidness, which is why I really like these. No thin dainty porcelain that you break in a week. The lips of the cups are very smooth and the inside is perfectly smooth and round, as an espresso cup should be. The saucers are more useful than I expected. I'm usually not a saucer person, but they prevent lots of spills and just look and feel great.This set of 6 fits perfectly atop a Rancilio Silvia. Though it's not in the photo, I usually put a paper towel between the cups and the machine, otherwise the machine will tell you exactly how many cups you have on top by vibrating them all in unison.I'm very happy with these espresso cups. These are easily cafe quality cups for a fair price.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a simple, yet elegant thick-walled all-white espresso cup exactly like the ones used by the cafes throughout Europe. The quality is outstanding. The porcelain is nice and thick so it keeps your espresso warm. They are made for a single, one-ounce shot of espresso but you can use these for double espressos as well (but the coffee will be nearly to the brim). Highly recommend these if you want this simple style in high quality. Well worth the money.

I was looking for really thick-walled cafe style espresso cups, and these are perfect. They were also way less expensive than a bunch of other options promoted on Amazon that look thinner and lower quality - especially for the pack of 6... Only caution I’d give is they are only 2oz filled to the brim, which is perfect for the double shots I pull (18g dose, 36g out) but they can’t hold anything beyond that.

These espresso cups are exactly what I was looking for. Nice traditional white color, just the right thickness and size. The cup fits snugly on the saucer. They were packaged well. No breakage,cracks or chipping. I am very pleased with them.

They are thinner than expected. I wanted insanely thick edge cups. Too bad. However they do their job.

I make Cuban style coffee every morning and while they sell espresso sets everywhere at a low price, they do not compare to these. First, they are beautiful, well made and feel great to the touch. Second, the benefit of the thickness of these cups is twofold. Your coffee stays hot longer and they are very durable. Anyone who uses espresso cups regularly will tell you the handles are almost always the first things to break. These are so well made that you would have to deliberately smash them on the floor to get them to break and even then they do not shatter.Although they are pricey, they are well worth every dime. I'm confident I will have these for many years to come.

You can find cheaper espresso cups but these are totally worth the price. They're thick and heavy, just like the ones I remember in Italy. They look like they can take some heavy usage.

I love the thickness of these cups for two reasons. One, as the title says, they retain heat really well...and two, I think that the thick lip on these cups contributes to a great espresso experience. Big thumbs up.
