Ridgemonkey New Depth Filling Toaster Sandwich Black

Comparing this the other Ridge monkey I have this is a bit of a disappointment as the handle is too heavy and overbalances when in use, it has to be held while cooking which is annoying as you can't move away from the stove ...needs a smaller lighter handle

Love my sandwich toaster. After going to india and watching the famous bombay street sandwich being made, i was hoping this would be close enough. It's more than lived up to my expectations. It can go on a braai or gas/electric stove. Large enough to take door stopper sandwiches and lots of fillings. The trick is heat should be on medium to medium low and turn every 30 seconds for a few minutes, for perfect golden filled toasties!

Have used this a number of times now and have not experience any of the problems etc which others reviewers have claimed. Prior to use I do smear a very small amount of oil onto the surfaces and also prior to storing.

I love this and use it for every day and camping. Brilliant for BBQs too.Great for eggs, full omelettes and veggies. I don’t eat meat but I suspect it’s great for sausage and bacon as well as other things!I have bought for friends birthdays and goes down a treat.

Grate product in concept but far to havy on the handle, pan is to small can only fit one small pasty in at a time, god gave me two hands thank you need one to hold it on the cooker and one to eat said hot pasty so yeah its a grate product not really worth the money but nothing better than a hot pasty on the bank apart from two hot pasties

Partner loved it! He Has taken it fishing and made breakfast, toasties and small pizzas 🍕 🥐🍳 🎣 in it and says it perfect for one person cooks the food really well.

The ridgemonkey was smaller than expected but that will be fine. The big disappointment for me was the postage and packaging which wasn't shown or at least not clear when ordering and Doubled the cost of the item!! I also signed up with Prime to avoid this type of thing!! It came as a bit of a shock so shop around to see if there is cheaper postage and packaging and don't get caught like me.

Looks like a very well made product and fits the bill for size and utility. Might have to make myself a toasty at home to test it out 😀. Arrived in perfect condition - thank you!
