Nice recycling project
Overall, they are a GREAT WAY to recycle used empty plastic bottles. The birds LOVE THEM!The only problem I had was the hanger was flimsy and broke off. I fixed it using wire from a hanger and haven't had any problems.

Love these quick easy bird feeder perches.
I have used these for a very long time and keep buying them to expand my feeders in my yard. Things that I love? 1. The price, great way to get your kids into bird feeding inexpensively. 2. I really like that you do not have to unscrew the perch to fill the bottle. There is a removable bottom to just take off for filling! So convenient. GREAT PRODUCT.

Fits ok
It is hard to screw on to a wine bottle but if you put some muscle in to it you can make it work. Small birds like it.

Does I what I needed
I bought these because I wanted something inexpensive enough to not be upset when attacked by squirrels. Other more expensive bird feeders were easily destroyed by the 4 legged fur balls. I've been using these for months now and have found that squirrels don't see to bother them. I suspect that might be because they don't feel secure when trying to get on/hang from it. The smaller birds love them and they work great. The larger birds find them less stable like the squirrels but still manage to feed.

Excellent concept where deficiencies are easily remedied.
What I like.1) Portion control. A regular feeders are emptied in a day regardless of the size of the hopper. With these you can use a small coke bottle 12/16 oz and feed once daily conserving your seed budget and maximizing your watching pleasure.2) the feeding tray. The metal version of this type of feeder has 2 small rectangular feeding ports more suited to caged birds. This has 4 ports3) The funnel makes filling the bottles easy4) the price. What else needs to be said here.5) bottle reuse. every litter bit helps :)What I dislike1) no drainage for rain accumulation Easy fix...a drill.2) the hanger. Hard to insert and sharp edges cut into the bottle making it easier to knock down. Also squirrels can chew through in a snap. Solution..use wire and make your own hanger3) the perch is too close for Cardinal sized birds. Solution 5 inch embroidery hoops and zip ties. Unfortunately this makes access for starlings and grackles possible but 4.5 inch hoops are not made. Update: the starlings and grackles have decided it is too much work to raid the feeders and have moved on.4) the removable plug on the bottom (an alternate way to fill the feeder without removing the bottle) it is more clumsy and squirrels learn quickly how to remove it for more seed access. Solution Super Glue.

to small
the ring needs to be bigger for birds to sit on. starlings and grackles destroyed one in a couple days

Worthy feeders that do some good
These things are great. Finally, a way to reuse some of the billions of plastic bottles with which we are destroying the planet. The funnel is especially useful. I use these with a handful of water bottles, filled with a blend of small seed. Black oil sunflower seeds are also in the mix, but sparse. The black oils are s favorite of the birds. These are favored by smaller birds (just not big enough a perch for Cardinal sized birds). Water does collect in the tray, so use smaller bottles and clean/dry tray frequently. Squirrels may knock the feeders around, but so far haven't broken any - a real boon, given how brittle and expensive other feeders are. Can't go wrong with trying these out.

Great kid project or stay at home project
So in the comments there are alot saying these arent durable....THEY ARE lol if you use it correctly and pull the loose plastic (which is the handle once pulled apart) off the lil bird feet part. The birds love it! I love the funnel that comes with the kit, it helps so very much!
