I've spent loads of money making sure my electronics were taken care of. Part of the allure to apple products are the sleek design which the more expensive cases seem to completely destroy. his case has great functionality, sleek design, and amazing quality. Not often do you get a product that is comparable to the pictures but this item has been one of the few. The design is imprinted on the case flawlessly with no smear or separation and the case is the perfect quality for someone who wants to protect them computer for scratches or dents..The PRO's of this item would be the design, quality and cost effectiveness.The very limited CON's would be the clips can sometimes slide off, it's not like the case doesn't stay on, it's just that the lid can be sometimes hard to lift up without accidentally undoing a clip. Which is why it's 5 across the board and a 4 for sturdiness. I think as far as quality control, a singular additional clip in the top center above the camera would remove the flex and add leverage enough that you wouldn't have that issue.Otherwise this item is perfect for the laptop and the keyboard protector was a nice bonus. I'd definitely use my research, save some time, and just go ahead and give this a buy if it fits your style. I'll give an update in the next few months to report how it's held up, but so far, great.

i like this case a lot. i ordered it in november 2020 & it still looks like new (jan2021)! previously i’ve had cases by mosios? however, i like this one the best bc i like matte cases & previously i wasn’t big into design. i’ve always had boring cases (plain color) but this one has a subtle design that i like so why not give it a try. a plus is that it comes with laptop keyboard cover which fits perfectly. i like these bc i live with my laptop. i eat with it, on it, take baths with it, etc so the keyboard is always a mess without it.* keyboard cover does block keyboard light feature if you use your laptop at night (only downside to the keyboard cover)DURABILITY: i thought the paint would scratch off & that id get wear & tear but so far i haven’t. i mainly don’t place the laptop in a bag. if i do it is placed in its own compartment to help protect the case cover print. hence why i’ve given it a 5 for durability.THICKNESS: the case is also thick. once you place it on your laptop you will hear a click. from using it so far, none of the plastic has cracked. typically the edges crack first and/or the tabs that secure the device. but that hasn’t happened.SHEERNESS: the overall case is matte. however it has sheerness in that you are still able to see the apple symbol. if you had a sticker covering on device - you would still be able to see it slightly but the sheerness if not transparent so it would cover the sticker enough where’s you’d still see the design of the case. although matte finish, if you like shiny it can become shiny due to use and greasy hands!!! to combat that use case with clean hands of just wipe clean with water and cloth.

The black case I had for 4 years so far has broken down on me due to cracked edges. After examining this new case, I noticed that they use similar compounds for the structure/rigidity of the case. Nonetheless, this new protector is a real beauty and the design makes this Macbook stand out.

The durability was outstanding. I hurled everything at my MacBook and it didn't even get a scratch! It's truly amazing at what it does! Don't anticipate military-grade durability, as it's only made of silicone and plastic, and it clips on to your MacBook, which I don't trust because they break easily, but it does the job if you drop it from your bed to the carpet; don't expect it to withstand concrete from 5 feet away.It's rather sturdy!It's constructed of silicone and plastic, which is great, but my only complaint is the plastic clips that hold the MacBook in place; one human error and it's all over! Mine hasn't been harmed yet, and I'm hoping the plastic doesn't fracture.In terms of 'value for money,' I'd say it's somewhere in the middle.It's $17 for a case, which is a bit pricey for a case; but, I can purchase a similar case for $10 or even $6. it does come with a keyboard cover, so it's "Best for Value," right? WRONG! When you're done using it, the keyboard cover and case leave your fingers black, and if you remove the keyboard cover, it also stays on the real keyboard, making everything sticky! “But it's only $17! What do you expect?” I can afford a $10 case and a $5 keyboard cover, and I'll be OK! Also, the packing is terrible; it's basically plastic wrap with Amazon packaging.

So the case fits nicely, although some edges are left unprotected on the bottom half (I have a MacBook Pro from 2013, idk if that is important). When it first came, the keyboard cover fit super nicely! it fit like a glove! HOWEVER, now that it has been a while, I don't know if it got stretched out or if because of the heat given off by my computer it expanded, but now it doesn't fit at all. It is extremely baggy and the reason I initially made this purchase was to replace my old keyboard cover. This one if I need to be typing quickly, I have to take it off because it impairs my accuracy and efficiency. If I was just rating the keyboard cover, it would be a 1 star, but the case is nice so I'll give it 3.

I love it. I have been getting compliments on the amazing laptop case. I enjoy the material, how it looks, and it goes well on my mac book pro. The design is the best thing about this case since the quality is great. I would recommend this case.

I bought this for my step-mother who I gave a Macbook 12" to. She didnt really care for a case or sleeve, but, I figured it would keep it protected better. When it arrived, she immediately installed it. I will say, it is a bit tough to install as it is very sturdy and clicks right into place. The design is very nice and detailed. Has a matte finish and so it will show any grease left behind. On the bottom of the case, the feet stick out a bit to give the computer a slight rise off the tables. Looks very sleek and an excellent touch. Would highly recommend.

Pretty disappointed - the case is not rubberised at all so is very slippery on your lap.It looks great and fitted well except for the keyboard protector which got rumpled in transit.I got one of these (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07CQWHZXV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1) for my daughter and it is rubberised.
