Not bad for my first try! We had a carport installed next to our detached garage, which has a side door that opens toward the carport. I could have gone with a foot taller carport, not knowing exactly how far the roof curved down on the side and sure enough, the door was hitting the carport roof. I had to do some cutting to be able to use the door. I ordered the nibbler attachment and it works. It definitely needs the higher RPM's and my drill maxes out at 1500, the minimum. My efforts to keep it straight were freshman at best, but it did the job and from a distance, it looks fantastic. Up close it is not real pretty, but it is something that takes some time to learn and be good I think.As someone else mentioned, it will rain these little half moon shaped niblets all over the place so wear eye protection and if you can, spread something on the ground so the shavings are easier to gather. I used a magnet wand I built to pick up all the residue. I think this was money well spent. I don't have to cut sheet metal very often, and I know what I'm using if I have to again!

This little critter does a good job as described. Seems simple and pretty well built. I used it on 16 ga. steel electrical panels and it cut very well. The cuts were clean with no burrs. It is a bit messy, sending chips about the workbench. A couple of notes; Use oil on the cutting ends. Just a drop or two, but it will cut better and last longer. Practice your cuts on some scrap metal. It's tricky to freehand your cuts and the line you drew is covered by the cutting head. Good product for the price and the right tool for the job

So I used this rarely at work for cutting into things without starting a fire. Super useful on stuff where tin snips wont do itBut recently, I had a cheap electric safe at home stop working. Key wouldnt even open it. I had my car titles in there, and couldn't get in there with an angle grinder without hurting them. So I drilled a hole, put this in, and cut through the 2mm thick steel wall, the entire way across the back. I got everything back out safely and found a bolt came loose and jammed the lock mechanismAnyhow, I've run this through stainless, painted mild steel, aluminum, a section of copper, nothing has stopped it or dulled it. I'm on the original blade, though I haven't done a TON of cuttingNow, this makes an absolute mess. It cuts crescent moon shapes out of metal. They are especially sharp and pointy. They get everywhere.The main benefit to me is no sparks. Otherwise another cutter will be faster and more accurate. An angle grinder will cut straighter. I suppose if you really took your time, got it JUST right, drew out a line, youd cut nice and straight. Otherwise it's too easy to deviate

I've had this since 2020 and I still love it, has been an amazing tool, even got stolen for a couple months and was recovered I was so happy. I've used this in body work to cut out patches. Great tool couldn't be more impressed for the price.

I was surprised by how well this cut through the metal on my metal building addition. It takes some practice to get semi straight cuts but, otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised.

Used freehand and with the circle cutting jig. Works great cutting 26 gauge galvanized steel ducts. Excellent value for its speed and accuracy. Used with a cordless 18V Dewalt DC759 on higher speed setting (it's very slow on speed setting 1).UPDATE: reduced from 5 to 3 stars after the hole-cutting accessory broke at a weak weld. Thankfully, I was on the last hole, so I could freehand the rest of it. I used the hole-cutting accessory for about a dozen 6"-10" holes in 26ga steel before the tip of the insert pin broke at the weld. While it was working, the hole-cutting assessor worked great, easily making perfect circles.

I am a Gunsmith in Florida and a client had a gun that needed a firing pin, one of those great big flat ones that haven't been made since 1940. I saw this nibbler and, though skeptical because of price, I bought it expecting it to fail on first cut. I put it into my drill and locked a piece of 16 gauge sheet metal into my vice and, fearfully, started to cut, and it didn't jam or stop!!! I kept on cutting until I had the entire firing pin blank cut out with absolutely NO problems. Then I cut three more because they can be used in other models of this firearm as well. The cutter did a great job going through the 16 gauge metal, but if you are going to be using it for long periods of time it gets VERY tiring because it tends to want to wander and you must correct for it.This is a great tool and I would recommend it for those who need a nibbler for occasional use.

I had some old heavy duty galvanized steel that we used for the chicken coop. After years of using clippers and grinding to cut through the metal sheets, I figured there was a tool that could make my life easier. WISH I BOUGHT THIS 5 YEARS AGO. The steel panel pictured took a bit of effort for the tool, but it still cut it. Also love the metal drill bit, again something I should’ve bought years ago
