Great Way to use your iPod in the pool!
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the earbuds won't stay in and they are not adjustable. I bought a different pair of waterproof earbuds that came with 3 different sizes of "earpads" to fit different size ears (I need the largest size). If the ones that come with the drypack happen to fit you, then you're lucky. As far as sound, the included ones are OK, but I like the ones I bought much better. As far as the Dry Pak itself, it does the job and does it great! I use a 30 GB iPod video in the pool at the gym every day and haven't had the slightest hint of a leak or any other malfunction. It is totally waterproof and makes it easy to see and control the iPod screen/controls. I highly recommend this for swimming if you're looking for a lower cost alternative to the bluetooth/wireless type of earphones. It uses a standard 3.5mm jack to connect your earphones and actually contains an internal connection inside the Dry Pak to insure water can't get in.

It's great!
The headphones are crap, but the case itself works great! It keeps my mp3 player (a Sansa Clip) dry and the sound quality is good enough for me. I use this for swimming laps in the pool.

Junk or crap, choose one
I have used prior iterations successfully for years. They must have changed manufacturers or specs, because now (I tried THREE) the hole for the ear-buds is covered by the sealing membrane, rending the whole thing USELESS and unusable. The earbuds fell apart in my hands. Piece of CRAP, and I am especially sorry as nothing else comes close to the price/ease of use when it was working.

Dimensions are incorrect, didn't fit my phone.
The product dimensions are incorrect. The PACKAGE dimensions are 9"x 5" x 2", but the dimensions for the pak itself are more like 6" x 3.25" x 0. It didn't fit my Nokia windows phone. The package also comes with inserts for smaller MP3s and Nanos. Seems like it would keep items dry though.

Doesn't fit Droid X
Contrary to specified allowable size (saw some specs that say will accept 3 x 7" devices), will not hold Droid X which is 2.25 x 5. (too narrow). Bummer.

wet zone music
The ear buds it comes with suck - really tinny sound. Any $10 buds sound better and unless you are immersed continually they work for quite awhile before fading. I wish there was a version for the shuffle. I use mine for paddling and had to sew an extension so I can wear it like a pilot's knee board. The arm band works well for windsurfing and biking in all weather. I have 2 and have given more as gifts. Overall a good product except for the buds.

Swim to Music
This item is wonderful. I have recorded several playlists of great music. Each one lasts an hour. I swim for the whole hour, never counting laps, or checking the time. Sometimes I "swim-dance" my way through numbers. The Dry Pak works perfectly. The IPod is dry and safe. The design is perfect. This is my second DryPak. The first lasted many years and survived thousands of laps!!! Do it!

Leaked
I've had mine for about 9 months but have had infrequent opportunity to use it. The first few times I used it, I was very pleased but the last couple of times I used it, I noticed a small amount of condensation inside the pak. This week, it leaked full on during a swim and ruined my mp3 player. I wouldn't risk another to this product.
