I purchased 2 of these shorts. The fit is perfect, very comfortable and material is great especially for humid weather like Mumbai. There was also no difference after multiple washings. I didn’t want those typical athletic or sports shorts. I wanted something much lighter material and feel of cotton.This fit the bill, go for it !

Pros- superior cotton fabric, good stitching, relaxed comfort fit(not mentioned in description). Draw string in case elastic waistband slackens.Cons - No size chart. Size M means differently for different Indian manufacturers. No response from seller regarding this. In the absence of adequate size info, incorrect answers by some buyers could result in unnecessary returns. In my case size L was ordered, when M would be perfect. IMPORTANT - see size chart printed on product, I have attached as image, for future buyers of Van Heusen Athleisure product.I'm adding following comments after using for a month - 1. Fabric retains texture and stiffness after wash. But it is to be noted that fabric is not as thick as cotton shorts by other mfrs, including Amazon's Symbol brand.2. Colour runs, so you cannot wash mixed with light coloured clothes. This is a limitation in today's machine wash age, where separately washing dark colours is a waste of water and electricity.
