Fellowes Powershred 60Cs 10-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder (4606001)

This product is working well for us. I am using Canola oil to oil it after each time I empty the basket. I had a small bottle from another shredder that we did not oil, until it was too late. The Fellowes Shredder works well, it will chop up credit cards and paper easily. However, I decided to not do more than 3 pages at a time. It does the job for us. Delivery was on time, as promised.

This is a monster. Works really well and apart from a lone incident of jamming hasn't really given any problem even though we have been using it quite often and for prolonged periods.

It does the job well. Cuts the paper into strips. Cross cut creates small pieces, which makes it more effective. Has a good speed also, and seems heavy duty. It is also not loud or noisy, and fits well into the office environment.One problem though. If you leave it on for some time, it freezes up. The metal edging around the paper slot has a safety feature which will stop the shredder if you touch it, and an error light comes on.This safety feature seems to become overactive or oversensitive when the unit is left on for some time. Even if there is nothing on or near the shredder or the metal edging, the error light comes on and the shredder refuses to operate. You have to switch it off and wait for some time before it resumes normal operations.I now switch it off after every use. But having to switch it on and off every time I need to use it is irritating.I don't know it is a problem with my unit or with all.

Best shredder I’ve owned. So far living up to its name of powerhouse.

We absolutely love this shredder. As of September 2016 we've been using it for almost a year and haven't had any problems with it. We love the child safety features - there are two power switches as well as a sensor around the opening that will turn it off if it senses a hand nearby. This gives us great peace of mind since we have a young daughter in our house. It also shreds credit cards (and other similar items) with ease and doesn't get jammed easily which we really appreciate since our old shredder seemed to constantly jam.The one downside we have found is the bin is not quite large enough for our liking. We tend to wait and shred a large amount of papers at once and the bin fills up quickly. However, this is not really a major issue at all, it can just be annoying if you are doing a lot of shredding at once. It also cuts the paper into rectangles instead of diamonds which is just something to be aware of because you could potentially still see information on the paper depending on how you insert it into the shredder.Overall though we are very happy with our purchase and would recommed this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced shredder that is also safe and works well.

Arrived well packaged on time. The 60CS is a newer version of my old 58CS. better made, quieter and does well. run for 5 minutes and let rest for 20. Note: be sure to get the shredder oil and lube per instructions at each use.

I bought it for my wife and she loves it. It's fast, powerful and runs quite smoothly. Operation noise levels are pretty low. The bin capacity is also very well sized for home office use.
