Works on Monstrum Marksman 3x30 Prism Scope
Works on a Monstrum Marksman 3x30 Prism Scope. The scope is only 4.9" long so the rubber bungee is too long so I run it around the scope caps. The lens cups will grab and stay in place on both ends of the scope even without assist from the bungee part.Pros: Price is cheap. Very rubbery and pliable. Stays in place.Cons: Does not come with free bacon.

Depends on what you want to accomplish
I have bought two of these. One for a 9 inch Burris Handgun scope. One for a 10 inch Burris handgun scope. The "caps" on the ends of these are just right for the size of the ends of the scopes. I would not want much bigger, but they are medium to small objectives as they go in scope world. To put them on the 9-inch scope takes some stretching. The 10-inch one takes even more, perhaps bordering on a little too much. But, they go on and they are snug and secure. They protect my lenses absolutely. That is what I bought them for. These guns are strictly range guns. They sit about between range sessions collecting dust. When in the range bag they bang about with other equipment and the lenses are vulnerable to dirt, dust, and whatever else could happen under these circumstances. I don't have to worry about them with these caps on. That is all I wanted to accomplish.Putting these on and taking them off requires a little work and concentration. Nothing I even consider when unpacking for or packing up from a day at the range. If they were to be used on a hunting gun, I would have no problem using the before and after the hunt when equipment is being readied or retired for the day, but would never consider them for use during a hunt. Getting them on and off is just too impractical under those circumstances. So, to summarize, they do exactly what I would want them to do for the situations that I use them for. I could not be happier. Yes, they take a little tugging. But, I am not yet so old or weak that I can't handle it.

An airtight seal at each end of my Burris scope/non-abrasive- love it- except for the dry rot of the rubber seen in a few months
Update: this cover has shown dry rot in just a few months wherever the thin straps are stretched lengthwise down the scope. Nevertheless, I ordered a second one because I like the product so much. If the second one does this I will not order another. On to the review:I have a Burris Skull Tac Scope on my AR, and have been looking for the right product to protect the lens elements while at the same time not scratching the nice graphics on the exterior of my scope. The flip up cap style products were nice but because they slide on so tightly I was afraid they would damage the silkscreened graphics on my scope. While searching on Amazon, I came across the Butler Bickini Cover. It's soft rubber and stretches, so I not only fits my 12" scope perfectly, I am sure it won't ruin the silk screened paint... YES! Now that I have it, It's the perfect product: it fits well both in the diameter at each end of the scope, but also in length too. Because it is slightly stretched, it is very secure, yet with a simply pull on the molded tab, it comes off easily; it goes right into my pocket, and because of the rubber material, it stays where I put it. I'm sure glad I came across this product!

Feels weird, but they work.
I bought 2 of these to try out. I figured that I'd give them away or return them if they didn't work on my scopes. I put one on an old TASCO 3-9 without any issue. The larger cup fit nicely over the front lens. The smaller cup stretched enough to go over the rear lens without issue.I put the other on a Nikon P-300-BLK scope. It fit very similar to the Tasco.Looks like I'll order a few more of these after I've used them for a while to see if the rubber deteriorates over time.Overall I'd say they are well-made.

I't don't look like much, but it works... And it works very well, indeed..
I bought my first Butler Creek Bikini Scope Cover back in the early 1980s when I bought a new Ruger No.1 and a Leupold to top it off with and found that Leupold didn't bother with providing lens covers with their scopes back then. So I bought the "Bikini Cover" because it was inexpensive and I'd already spent more than my then college freshman self should have spent on my "dream rifle" and scope combo. When I actually started using that first one, there were a lot of things about it that I liked.First off, it makes for an impervious seal when affixed to the objective and occular bells of a scope. I've had these things out in white-out snow blizzards, torrential high desert thunderstom downpours, and never had lenses get a drop of moisture on them with this cover.Secondly, being the "over-glorified rubber band" that it essentially is, when it's time to shoot, getting the thing off and out of the way is a simply matter of grasping the pull tab on the occular cup, pulling back hard on it as if drawing a bow string, and letting go... The thing then flies clear of the scope. This it does not so well when new, but after a few times of doing it, it works as advertised.Thirdly, the things fold up tight and don't take up any space when you remove them and stuff in a pants or pack pocket.Lastly, these things are more durable than I ever, ever imagined they would or could be. I STILL have the first one I bought THREE DECADES ago.I use them on scopes with 33mm and 42mm objective bells with equal success. The last two that I bought look exactly like the first... Made the same way, out of the same stuff, to the same quality standard and still (shockingly) made in the U.S.A....It's cheap, convenient, and durable scope lens protection that works, and better than I ever imagined it would when I bought my first one "back in the day."
