I use it in the Delaware river in swift current and it stops the boat on the rocky or weedy bottom (light weight porta-bote). You need two if you want to try to stay stable in a lake. It's light weight makes it a breeze to work with.

Great for small boats
Who can resist this clever design at such a fair cost? I bought it for its space-saving size, but am equally impressed with its function. This has proven to be the perfect anchor for my inflatable.
