Mityvac MV6840 Hydraulic Brake and Clutch Pressure Bleeding System

I bought this power bleeder set because my shop used the exact same one for years without problem. This easy to use and come with whole set of adapters that fit most of viechles. I bought couple other ones which were cheaper than this before, but they didn't last long. The pump has built in pressure gauge and it's very easy to read. It's a best choice for professional technicians

This is my second one. I chucked the first mostly out of frustration with myself. For what’s available out there this tool has solid value. The hose really does need to be cleaned after each use, which is easy enough to do. I left fluid in my last hose and it was problematic - hose got rigid, ends got loose in the push connect fittings so i was regularly chopping off the old bits for a fresh, tight connection - so cleaning is worth the time. Leaving fluid in the container doesn’t seem to be a problem. Whole brake system flushed and hose cleaned in less than 20 minutes on a hoist - this is a time saver. The vinyl hoses are great for seeing the fluid color change, and easy to source if needing to replace. The adapter kit is versatile, i mostly use the euro and chrysler adapters. The toyota adapter is a secure fit. The adapters are steel so they will corrode if not cleaned regularly. I had my last set for over 10 years and there was rust on the stuff i neglected, the uncommonly used parts had no corrosion. Good tool for those willing to read the instructions.

Makes brake bleeding quick & easy

Works well. I ussualy use about 15 psi most days. Been using it for 4 years now. Only down side to constant use is the guage and the quick disconnect on the bottle. The guage has had brake fluid leak into it over time and the quick disconnect on the bottle is leaking brake fluid out of the lower oring up around the hose. Apparently the metal quick disconnect is non serviceable according to the manual. If anyone has the part number for that fitting that would be great.

I had a 2019 silverado with a failed power booster/master cyl. SI stated pressure bleed was required. I absolutely hated having to drop close to 3 bucks on this thing, but after using it I was thanking god I had it. Only used once so we will see how it holds up in time. It has a bunch of attachments, a pressure gauge on the pump lid, and a pressure release valve. Some newer models you absolutely have to pressure bleed or you will be sitting around for 10 years wondering why it still has the same code. On top of being used to bleed the brakes quicker than you would be able to with a helper, along with not needing a helper, I also used it to pressure check a leak I had created by not threading in a brake line tight enough. After fixing the leak, doing the manual and ABS bleed. Code was a cleared and pedal was nice and responsive as hell. Pressure bleeding is by the far the best way to bleed brakes. Very happy with purchase. One last thing, people complained about it leaking from the lid. This did not occur on my vehicle but may happen further down the line. Will keep posted.

Works good but I've had a couple of vehicles that it didn't work on so now I have to order a universal adapter to see if that works. I would recommend this because work as it should

Very good for bleeding brakes on vehicles. I haven't tried it yet on heavy oils like transmission or differentials.

This kit is on the expensive side but at 4 months of ownership and using it a dozen times, everything has worked well and as described. The cap adapters so far have fit well and not leaked. The price point hurts abit. Especially when I saw a mechanic friends setup he had bought and pieced together for much less. A storage solution would have been nice to get with the kit. I did not get the blow mold case in the pictures.

Works great also good for topping up hard to reach master cylinders
