Had looked at a few PS2 to HDMI solutions and upscalers, including looking at Youtube reviews and some more expensive options. Ultimately I figured this HDMI dongle was cheap enough that if it sucked, no great loss.HOWEVER. It is honestly really really great. I stopped using my PS2 because of how crappy component cables looked on my 4k tv, and when I switched to this I was blown away at how great it looked. Games are still a little blocky, but they're really quite crisp. The image doesn't stretch to fill the width of the screen (because these games were made for a more square aspect ratio), which is something that deterred me from the POUND PS2 HDMI solution. But it does fill the screen vertically. The colors are good, the screen is not darkened and the device didn't introduce any lag. Awesome.The only thing you need to really be aware of is if you stand your PS2 upwards instead of on its side: the adapter needs USB power - not a problem since it plugs into the USB port on the front of the device - but the cable for the power goes into the adapter from the bottom, meaning that it is in the way if you try to stand up the PS2 and you will not be able to. Not a deal-breaker for me, but good to note.All in all, super super happy with this and will easily recommend it to everyone.

I don't recommended this product because the weight of the hdmi together with ticking out from the playstaion and being inches from a hard surface it's only a matter of time before you break your playstation connection. I put something behind it to hold it up and give it support.

Works for how much I paid but there are terribly blurry lines that constantly run across making every game you play blurry. Asked for a replacement and the replacement did the same thing so I just kept it and played the games blurry.

The adapter did the job and was easy it install but it added extra voltage through the hdmi and caused the issue from the picture. TCL support was able to help me discharge the voltage and restore the screen. I plan on returning it and just get the Rad2x for 6x more but it won't mess up my TV.

I've used this device for 30+ hours with no problems. I already had my ps2 set to output through a component video cable, so I simply plugged this in, connected an hdmi cable, and I was up and running. Very pleased.

I was quite surprised at how well this inexpensive but effective solution to my connectivity issue worked, enabling me to use my PS2 on a hd tv. Video quality was not bad, and neither was the sound.

Allowed me to mate up my older game system with late model televisions.
