Ro RoxMen's Black and Gold Hussar Steampunk Parade Jacket Faux Fur

I wanted to have an alternate costume for Halloween this year and decided to go with an early 19th century hussar look. I've looked over my fair share of actual reproduction military jackets, specifically pelisses, as I always wanted one being a big history buff who thought they looked very sharp but couldn't bring myself to ever order one because they can run a little pricey.I came across this jacket searching around on Amazon and for the price I thought I'd take a flyer on it and boy I could not have been happier. The quality is amazing! The faux fur is soft, gold braiding is well stitched, the collar stands up, and the jacket actually closes with button and loops up the center! I ordered a medium at first (I'm about 5'8", 160lbs, normally wear suit jackets in the 36-38S range or a medium in shirts) and I found it just a bit too roomy in the chest so ended up ordering a small and it was a perfect fit for me, slimming but not tight. Only thing to note is I don't think you could wear this in super cold weather as an actual 'keep me warm jacket' without layering underneath as the lining is polyester.Couldn't be happier with my purchase, you should order with confidence knowing you'll be getting a quality item!

I bought this for my 14yr old son to wear while performing in a Jimi Hendrix tribute concert here in Woodstock. I am exceedingly pleased with the quality of the faux fur and other fabrics used, and the sturdy stitching seems like it will hold up very well over time. The jacket presents very well and he received many compliments on it. Overall, money very well spent and we couldn’t be more pleased.

The descriptions said it fit as expected. I have to agree. I wear Med in jackets and this thing fits like a glove. Not too tight, just perfect. If you like your jackets spacious go a size up. If you like a nice stylish fit - go for your regular size. It's well made and is very comfy!

Great quality coat, sizing is slightly off but I don't have time to send it back and order a bigger size because I need it for a Halloween costume. I'll keep it and wear it often though, even if it is a bit snug for my tastes.

This jacket is absolutely amazing. Every penny is worth it. Its not your typical cheap costume jacket, this was made with love! It fits perferct, ordered a Large (my actual size). The faux fur is nice, and the design is spectacular. I wouldn't think twice about getting this jacket, you will be as excited as I am right now!

I wear an XL in shirts and jackets. After seeing the reviews about the disparity between the US sizes and the listed sizes, i read the sellers description and trusted them, so i ordered an XXXL just to be EXTRA safe. When the jacket arrived i truly thought it had to have been a prank because of how small it was. The tag did read "XXXL", but the jacket itself 100% fit like a Mens US Small lol. Real bummer because aside from the bad sizing, the jacket was super cool and would have been perfect for my Jimi Hendrix costume!

Une superbe veste "Mythique" Extraordinaire, Belle toile, doublure, si l'air est un peu frais elle isole bien, mais bien aussi pour une soirée. Concernant les critiques lues, les manches sont un peu plus longues que la normale, mais c'est la coupe de ces vestes "hussard" la fourrure doit descendre un peu plus bas que le poignet. Un bouton s'est détaché, mais il y en a un de rechange, et on peut aussi contrôler de temps en temps. Vraiment un bel achat !
