Installed on an 02 GL1800
Once you figure out all the hardware (instructions for the bolts are not great) installation was pretty easy. The only real complaint I have is the 3M adhesive on the protective cover wasn't sticky enough but a little heat did the trick. Comfortable and looks great.

The quality of this item is very good - excellent in fact. I don't remember exactly how long it took me to install it, but it was not too difficult a task. The hardest part was cutting the foam and clearing out enough of a path to slide the metal bracket through it and bolt up to the other metal bracket underneath the seat. I could not think of any easy way to clear the path of the cut foam pieces, so I just worked the serrated bread knife back and forth until it was clear enough to slide the bracket. Part of the problem was that I have a heated seat and did not want to cut any wires, so I was extra careful in my cutting. It is not as bad as it sounds, and I would not hesitate to do another seat with this backrest.

Matches factory seat design, (print or stitching). I’d buy again, as long as it’s priced reasonably. Backrest is vitally important in addressing bad posture. It gives decent lumbar support, which helps correct posture and reduce back pain.

What I liked is that this was not difficult to install. (Tip: use a long blade serrated knife nothing short)

Backrest was easier to install than expected. Watch install videos and take your time. I found the directions to be vague at times. Pleased with this backrest would by again.

This backrest fit right and once I got over my fear of cutting the hole in the wrong place installation went very good

Good quality and the design and material pattern matches the factory seats. Looks like it can factory ready. It was a little hard to insert the vertical support through the seat...other than that.... fairly easy to install. You can't beat the price!!!

check all items in box before using
Could not review returned product ,there were items for 3 different bikes a, gold wing,an F6B,@ a CAN AM All items were clearly marked but in the same box . I didnt know for sure if the hardware would fit my bike a 2013 3rd generation Gold Wing. It was the 2nd one i had ordered, the first one was supposedly sent then 2 days later cancelled and refunded because they were oversold.
