Awesome Camping Cot!!
This is such an awesome camping cot!! The best part of this cot is the comfort, easy set up and tightly packable in a carrying case. This cot is easily stored with all our other camping gear. I would highly recommend this cot for anyone who is looking for an extra bed for visitors as well as camping.

Good nights sleep!
just purchased this cot and got to use it on a camping trip for two nights. So far I am very happy with it. It is lightweight and folds up to about the size of a typical bag chair. I was leery about this cot as I had no experience with Alpcour products. But for the price, I took a chance. The cot was easy to set up (just unfold and press down on the center frame tabs and you're good to go) make sure they are all the way seated. I slept well on it, the only reason for the four stars on comfort is that, like any cot, the material is taught once set up and a sleeping pad should be used between the cot and sleeping bag so that there is some padding for comfort. I am not a small guy (6'1 and 260, weightlifter) and have wide shoulders and it is wide enough for my upper torso to stay inside the frame. The cot did not flex, stress or creek when I turned over through the night. The frame is very sturdy and the pads were easy on my tent floor. Time will tell about the stitching and fabric as I will be watching the stitching for tears or separation. As far as the included pillow...I left it on the headrest as it helped keep my actual pillow on the cot while I slept. The included pillow is not for sleeping through the night but can serve as a head prop for reading etc... Folding up is very easy, just grab the fabric of both ends of the cot (head area and foot area) and pull up until it begins to fold, worked great. So far this was a good buy.

great cot
I got to use this cot for the first time this weekend camping. I tried it out at home first. I'm a side sleeper and I tend to curl up one leg - the cot kind of dips just a teensy bit but enough for me to notice it in that leg curl position. You don't really notice it just lying on your back. anyway- I chose to put one of those camp sleeping pads on top of the cot and it was very comfortable. it also made it just a little bit more wide which turned out to be a good thing when my dog wanted to share the bed with me on a cold camping night! I highly suggest pairing the cot and a sleeping pad, it is super comfy. I also put a fitted twin sheet over the whole thing had to kind of cinch a corner to keep it "tight" to stop the pad from shifting. I was totally glamping, my friend was jealous. This cot is very sturdy. It took me a couple of tries to fold it but only because I think I was trying to make it more difficult. its super easy, folds up just like one of those folding chairs and slips neatly back in to its sleeve.

Easy to set up, comfortable, stable, lightweight
We bought one of these cots and then bought another. They are easy to carry and lightweight compared to other cots we found. It is easy to set up with directions provided and intuition and snaps into place to make a sturdy cot to sit on the side or lay down on. I wish they had sent directions on how to take it down. We found by trial and error that picking it up sideways and popping a knee in the center will break it down, ready for folding and easy to pack. Its good that its harder to fold so it doesn't collapse on you, and its easy to move without folding. Time will tell if it lasts for a long time. It seems to be very sturdy and reinforced at high pressure points. For a nights sleep I would use my own pillow, but the enclosed pillow and the angle is good for naps. We plan to use it camping and with an occasional extra guest so it should last a long time for us.

Works well for me!
Let me begin by saying, this probably wont work for taller folks. I'm only 5'4", so when I lay on it I have room to spare. It unfolds just like your camp chairs, so set up is a breeze! I don't think I found a way to really lock it into place once it's set up, but it works fine. I was worried at first about the sleeping angle at the head, since I'm a side sleeper... but it actually ended up being really comfortable for me. Of course it has its compromises dues to the design, but for me the CONVENIENCE and ease of set up and tear down is WELL worth it.

sturdy and comfortable
I haven't camped since I was about 17. Now that I am in the 65+ category sleeping on the ground of a tent is not an option. I am well pleased on how easy it is to set up and it actually fits back in the bag it came in when folded back up! I did use an egg carton memory foam on top of it - which made it even more comfortable. I did not use the pillow that came with it, I prefer a regular pillow. I camped by myself and fit well in a four-person tent with plenty of room to spare. Would definitely recommend.

Great for Price and Comfort...But needs a bit more Quality Control
My COVID-19 story in this purchase. I was living with a highly compromised immune system individual at home and elected to use this to sleep in my office during the Northeast shutdown. Used it for 45 days straight. During that time these were my findings (I am also a military member, so using mental comparison to heavy-duty military cots):Pros:-Comfortable for a cot.-Great collapsible mechanism-Small footprint when folded and fairly light-Once the cot is properly extended it is very sturdyCons:-The carry bag (cover) quality is not as good as the cot itself. You will see that the pull string area will tear a bit with constant use.-The bigger con on this item is that the support plastic pieces need to be STRONGER and THICKER to put up with the constant opening and closing. The pics I have attached show what occurred to one the plastic tube holders. I tried using Gorilla Glue to extend life, but eventually, it came undone.Neutral:-Could not find a use for the pillow...I just used a regular memory foam pillow and a quilt to sleep on it.I am still able to use it, but it seems like a missed opportunity by the company to just give that extra 10% to win loyalty over what probably costs an extra $10-15 per cot...which I would have paid.It did the job and I am happy. I will definitely use it on a more traditional camping trip in the future.
