Q: It says sensitivity, but there's no nitrous phosohate -- are they saying the fluoride alone is enough to relieve sensitivity?

I think you mean potassium nitrate, which is what is in pastes like Sensodyne and Pronamel, etc. that helps to deaden the little tubules that make our teeth sensitive. Hello's older toothpaste, the one in the pink box ("See Ya, Sensitivity") had that ingredient, but for some unknown reason, they stopped making it. Fluoride does help with sensitivity by filling in gaps, rough spots and cracks as it builds enamel back up, thus shielding the tooth surface. I like the PN too, and miss that old toothpaste. But fluoride can definitely help!
