Z-Star Single Auger Manual Juicer, Z-710

Tested 1 st time to get a beetroot juice. This thing is a cadillac of manual juicers . Yes ,expensive, but I'm sure will last a long time . The input vs output is pretty good . Only 1 thing to be worked out . the collecting cup should be raised up .

This obviously won't perform as well as a juicer with a motor, but it gets the job done. However, it needs to be clamped to a solid, secure surface which is often missing in a location where you would find a manual juicer a good choice (camping, small apartment, traveling, etc.). It also has small parts that are a pain to clean out. Because it was so labor and time intensive, I would juice several days worth at night instead of having fresh juice every morning.

Overall impressive product, but rear of auger housing (near the base) sheared clean off. I didn't excessively crank, it felt like the usual resistance while juicing carrots. I'm no wimp, but still used just one hand in the prescribed way.Edit: Tribest was accommodating and quickly honored a warranty claim by shipping the replacement part.

works better than any automated juicer ive owned by far. absolutely perfect juice consistency. gotta love old fashioned :)! the one thing that would be nice is a taller juice collector but not a big deal im happy :))

I use this daily to make my vegetable and fruit juices. High Quality product.

I bought this juicer to go on a 30 day juice fast cleanse after watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I've tried everything else and thought this might help with my medical conditions.It is very hard to crank carrots and beets, my right arm is sore...but it will get easier as my strength improves.It was very hard to find an edge this juicer will fit onto. I tried 3 places on my counter, removing the drawers so it would crank, but because the is only an inch of overhang the juicer would not secure properly and the unit shifted around until it dislodged. I finally ended up clearing off my office table and bringing it into the kitchen. The table has 3" of edge on the short sides so the clamp fits correctly. The clamp opens quite wide so thickness of the edge only needs to be smaller than 3". It's the depth that is important, the unit needs to be stable or you'll have a mess like I did when it comes loose.Very important to clean the screen insert immediately after use, don't let the pulp dry on it as it's extremely hard to remove after drying.I'm on my 3rd day of the juice fast and hopeful to complete the full 30 days using my new manual juicer. I will be honest I'll buy an electric one if going longer than 30 days to save time/effort.
