This product works great to install the grill onto the boat
This product works great to install the grill onto the boat. We purchased this as a Christmas gift for my dad. He loves it and swears he doesn't know how he ever boated without a grill!

Solid and a must for the grill
It bolts to bottom of Magna grill. Did not come with bolts, so you will have to make a trip to get short stainless bolts and nuts. Also have to make sure you install the right direction to allow grill to be horizontal when in angled rod holder. Lastly you can still leave the folding legs on grill in case you want to take to beach or any flat surface. This thing just can lock up underneath and then pull down legs.

It kind of works but could use some improvements.
Seems to be a decent concept but does have a few flaws.For starts screwing a knob just to tighten it in a fishing rod holder doesn't seem to work well always. It is still able to loosen itself in the waves over time and you don't want to just flat out go to town tightening it as like anything you could cause damage to it or the boat. Maybe they can improve it and add some sort of lock to that portion too?The other thing is I wish it was longer. It doesn't sit very deep and I have worries a wave will come and take my grill out while we are cooking. I of course don't have the grill out when underway but still, it's listed as a HD mount for the Magma grill. This wouldn't be as bad as as a worry but when the above happens and it loosens a bit, well the extra length would help keep it stable.Not too many people seem to own this yet so it's probably not been fully proven yet so guess time will tell.FWIW I have the big ChefsMate Conniosseur Series grill. The smaller kettle ones might be a bit better. I'm sure this would also be good for other lighter attachments but why class it as a HD mount? lol
