Works Great
Nikon OEM product. I use it with my Nikon Z6III which I am using to image 35mm film negatives with. I don't have to touch the copy stand mounted camera to take photos, so no shaking or moving of the camera.

Ala Carte Order over Nikon Package Deal
I chose to purchase the Nikon Bluetooth remote control separately for budgeting purposes rather than buying it with the Nikon package deal. In my limited testing, the remote control is high quality and functions as expected. I also purchased the compatible tripod.

It works, but does not come with instructions
I decided to get a remote control for my Nikon Z7ii so I ordered the real Nikon ML-L7. It's a bit more than the knockoffs but had far higher ratings. I looked all over for it and found that Amazon's price was the cheapest as it included freight and I get e a s y returns when things go wrong. When it arrived, it was in a heavy cardboard box big enough for a pair of combat boots. Inside, a tiny 5" x 1" x 2" box was rattling around (no packing). Inside that box (without padding,) was the remote. Nope, no instructions. Nothing else. Not a word was printed on the inside box to say where to get instructions on how to program the camera to use it.So yes, I went to the web and quickly found the instructions (pretty good ones at that), which, in one web page, showed me how to pair it. It took a couple of tries, but it's working fine. I guess Nikon figures that a percentage of their customers are technical enough to figure it out (people like me), and others will (have to) go to the web--assuming they have access to the web.Functionally, it works fine. Remember to switch the camera to Video before pushing the red button on the remote. The zoom is not at all precise, so a single press really goes a long way. It can be programmed several ways and I intend to experiment with it in the field to see which is best for my needs. The real advantage to a remote like this is to trigger the shutter without touching the camera as when taking telephoto shots. Since my Z7ii has no mirror to bounce, the shots should be even steadier.

Replaced the Aodelan ML-L7A Remote
This remote responds faster and works more reliably than the Aodelan ML-L7A that I used for about a year. It's smaller and more compact. The 'take a picture' button is larger making it easer to find with your thumb. It does not come with the wrist strap so I used the one from the old Aodelan. The on/off button on the Nikon Brand remote is responsive as well where the Aodelan can be turned on but not off.

Nikon Z owners..a must have
Been a Nikon user for over 45 years, just moved up to the mirrorless Zf. This wireless remote is awesome, a must have for your Nikon Z camera. I can control my Zf including screen menu wireless, great when using a tripod set up.
