These hybrids can withstand very cold temperatures and maintain good color. Green gem has a small leaf and a very full habit making it ideal for many applications. It's a slow-growing dwarf plant that forms a tight ball, having very dark green foliage throughout the year. It makes an excellent short, formal hedge when planted closely and requires very little shearing to maintain its shape.
