Silver Gelatin Sheets for Baking – 25 Sheets (63 Grams) – Unflavored Clear Leaf Sheets for Desserts – 170 Bloom Strength – Product of Germany – Easy to Use – by Fit Lane NutritionFirst impressions: Nice pack full of sheets of stiff gelatin. There is little to no smell. The sheets are ready to use. This is not vegan and is porcine, or in other words made from pigs.Installation/setup: To Use Sheet Gelatin-Soak sheet(s) of gelatin in a bowl of cold water for 5 to 10 minutes. (Figure about 1 cup, 250ml, cold water per sheet.)-Once soft, lift sheets from the cold water.-Wring gently to remove excess water, then add to warm liquid, stirring until dissolved. If adding to a cold mixture, melt the softened sheets in a saucepan or microwave over very low heat, stirring just until melted completely. Then stir in the cold mixture gradually.Final thoughts: -Some people prefer to use sheet gelatin, claiming it has no odor and the gel sets finer. Another advantage is there’s also no chance of undissolved granules when using sheet gelatin.-If you want something made with gelatin to set faster, chill the mold or container first. Also you can stir the mixture constantly in a metal bowl placed in an ice bath until it begins to set, then pour it into the mold or container.-Gelatin lasts forever according to the Gelatin Manufacturers of America. If the packet gives an expiration date, it has to do with a “degradation of the packaging.” So if the packaging is damaged or old, you may want to toss it and use a new batch.-Certain tropical fruits, such as pineapple, kiwifruit, and ginger, have an enzyme (bromelin) that can prevent gelatin from setting. Heating the fruit completely through before using will destroy the enzyme.-Adding gelatin to food can make it non-Kosher, Halal, or inappropriate for those on vegetarian diets. Most gelatin is derived from beef or pork, which isn’t always mentioned on the packet. (In France, it’s noted when it’s derived from pork.)⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Great for dessert dishes
These gelatin sheets are so easy to use and great for making a number of different things in the kitchen including jello and mousses. It creates a more fluffier texture that holds everything together so to speak. These dissolve well and have an amazing shelf life. Great quality!

Easy to use
I usually use powdered gelatin for most things but for mousse I find using gelatin sheets is better. These gelatin sheets can use for mousse cake, panna cotta or any dessert needing gelatin. This package I got won't expire until 11/27, which gives me plenty time to use them.

doesn't clump up like powdered ~
I recently tried using gelatin sheets in my recipes, and they worked beautifully. They dissolved effortlessly, leaving no issues behind and absolutely no impact on the flavor of my desserts. The texture they created was exactly what I was hoping for—smooth and consistent. They also blended perfectly with my other recipes, making the process hassle-free. Compared to powdered gelatin, I found the sheets much easier to portion, which added to the overall convenience. I'm really pleased with how well they performed and plan to use them again in the future.

Excellent Gelatin Sheets - Dissolved Easily, Solidified Just Fine
After avoiding many a recipe thanks to iffy conversions and a lack of specific ingredients that I couldn't easily obtain, I finally was able to try out several desserts that utilize the elusive gelatin sheet. Gelatin sheets seem to be a common ingredient in European countries, and many recipes I've gone over utilize gelatin sheets. The Fit Lane Nutrition Store Silver Gelatin Sheets worked perfectly in the desserts I tried making and solidified just fine. The sheets dissolved well in water and didn't leave a "gelatin flavor" in the desserts. It worked perfectly with the mousse cakes I made, and I didn't have any issues with random clumps of gelatin like I occasionally have when using powder. It's a good quality gelatin sheet that may take a little experimentation to get the consistency you want, and it's recommended to use these sheets in recipes that call for the use of silver gelatin sheets for the best results.

Convenient
These are very convenient because they lay flat in the package and don’t take up much room in storage. I have never used anything like this before, because I decided to give these a try and experiment a little. They are easy to use. I have a special diet that I follow and I make almost all of my meals. I have found that I like adding these to cooked and mashed fruit to make a type of homemade jam for myself. They don’t add any flavor but they thicken it up and give me a healthy jam. The instructions are right on the package which I appreciate.
