Clean and responsive! A great pro style controller!
I'm really impressed by this! It's nearly as good as other pro controllers! I can easily use it with my Switch and Steam Deck without any issues. Connecting to my PC is super convenient since I can choose between 2.4G, Bluetooth, or a wired connection, and it connects right away every time. I appreciate that it's plug and play; I didn't need to install any software or download anything to make it work. It functions perfectly right out of the box, which is really cool. In terms of functionality, the buttons and sticks feel fantastic and are very responsive.

Good versatile game controller
This connected to Nintendo Switch perfectly with no issues or fuss, it feels very nice in the hand, definitely feels more premium. The buttons are very responsive and have a nice clicky feel.I haven't tried this on a pc or phone as I don't play games on those, my experience has only been for Nintendo Switch, and for this, I can definitely recommend.

Good Controller for Mobile Gaming with a Few Issues
I grew up playing console games and have tried almost every kind of controller. I started to game on my iPad and was using a PS4 controller, until stick drift struck me down. It was so bad that my screen would just spin in circles and made me quite ill. When I went on a hunt for a new controller, an Xbox style was recommended for me, as I have small hands and a tremor issue. I was excited when I came across this controller in particular and if you hadn't already guessed it, aside from the layout, the claims that it was more stick drift resistant drew me in.While this also comes with a dongle for connecting, it's not compatible with any device I own, as it's a USB/C. It did connect well via bluetooth; however, I did get a warning that the device would interfere with my Wifi connection and it didn't show up on my battery level monitor. I was also a bit flummoxed (and this could just be me) that there was only an auto-off function, but no button or button combination to power the controller off. I prefer this as it immediately disconnects. In this case, I wanted to ensure that there was no longer any interference with my Wifi, but had to wait for the auto-off to kick in.The joysticks seem to be more reinforced than the others that I have used and feel like they won't immediately sink into stick drift after a few uses. The buttons are easy for me to reach and use, so that's wonderful as well. All in all, a good controller that may have a few issues for some folks, but not all.

not for phone/mobile...
I have wanted to try this style of controller for MFi games as an alternative to my “squeeze-clamp” controllers. Hidden in the product listing — less prominent than "Designed with a mobile phone stand support” — is the caution “Mobile Stand not included” alongside an image of the controller with phone brackets attached to, and detached from, the controller. Ok, so that is going to be an extra cost, right? Not so simple. There may be no phone bracket available. Certainly, you can’t just add one to your Amazon order for the LeapJoy controller and be ready to play. The URL given on the included instruction sheet for the full manual leads to [ 404 page not found ]. Not that helpful, really. I did discover that the Z1 Lite controller is not listed as a product on the LeapJoy website. Who knows, maybe the "E-Manual” is actually only a .pdf of the instruction sheet — which kind of runs through connecting, button mapping, and a few things specific to the controller in an okay manner. These things are sometimes beyond me.Chasing around the internet, I find that the LeapJoy Z1 appears virtually identical to the Gamesir T4 Pro controller ($10 less with a phone bracket included), but I can’t find a source for the Gamesir phone mount as a loose accessory. There are some knockoffs listed at AliExpress, but none are available "at this time". EasySMX X10 controller seems to use a very similar-looking attachment method for the phone holder — $12 direct from them, but maybe it is and maybe it isn't. None of the rubber band or clamp style phone brackets I found would work with the layout and shape of the Z1.I then contacted LeadJoy customer support — “I understood that the Z1 Lite controller does not include a phone holder, but that it could be used with one. I have not been able to find a phone holder which would fit your controller. Can you suggest any place I might find a suitable holder, or what controller type would have a compatible attachment?” Answer: “We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. Dear, sorry, you can look for it online.” So, no support from customer support.Bluetooth connection of the Z1 to iPhone is quick and easy — so is automatic reconnection. The joystick action seems smooth and correct — but I use the iPhone gyro for orientation. Without a phone mount that won’t work. The Z1 is supposed to have gyro sensing, but the instruction sheet doesn’t mention it and I have no idea how to switch from phone to controller for gyro control. So I can’t actually do much with the LeapJoy Z1 controller. The buttons all seem functional with limited testing — good tactile feel and positive “click” sensation (except LT and RT which just “mush” down over a range of motion, and the D-pad which has an intermediate feel). So, that’s my review — seems like a nice controller, but useless for phone users.I will try to update this review if I find a path to usefulness for the LeadJoy Z1 Lite. Meanwhile you might consider the less expensive and more complete competition...

Overpriced, last resort, anything else
The leadjoy Z1 lite is a perfectly functional gamepad that is capable of doing everything that it advertises it can.I would avoid this gamnepad at all costs. While it does function, the materials feels cheap and although they are textured, the plastic is so slick that you cant get a purchase on it with sweaty hands. The triggers are short/shallow and they may as well be buttons. Honestly a membrane button would probably feel better than these triggers. these have some of the least comfortable unsatisfying triggers I have ever used with what has to be less than an actual centimeter of travel.Overpriced. For the price of this listing, you can get far superior gamepads from just about anyone else for half the price or less. This is among my least favorite gamepads I've had the pleasure of receiving. I got it for free and don't want it.This is an overpriced product that is undesrving of your time or money. Go for something more ultimate but costs less.
