The table is sturdy and beautiful. I love this table. I just applied antique wax and looks perfect. Very happy with this purchase. I really recommend it.

For the price this table is very good as you're typically looking at around £500 for a table like this.I would recommend putting another coat of lacquer on the table top just for extra protection, this took me all of 20 minutes just to add an extra coat on

Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble. I had a bigger version of this table which served us well as a larger family for 10 years. I am awarding 4 stars only because the table arrived with a slightly damaged leg which didn’t bother me too much as I bought the table to customise to match my decor, so I was able to repair the damage, sand and paint but it would have been noticeable had I wanted to leave it natural wood. Overall, a lovely table which can take a battering if you have a young family.

Needed a larger table for upcoming dinner party. At this price point was willing to take a risk but dubious about what would arrive. It did arrive several days earlier than predicted and communication of the fact was good. It came It two boxes and the boxes were undamaged. On opening everything well packed and present. My first impression when I saw the wood was this is going to look cheap and nasty. It was relatively easy to assemble and all screws and glue are provided. The end result was very pleasing and a dust down and coat of clear wax finished it off perfectly and it looks and feels solid yet still light enough to move around when necessary. It's no Chippendale but it's practical, functional and I love it in our setting and I'm sure it will have happy stories to tell in many years to come.

My son took a while to fit together, so may suggest you pay Amazon to do it for you. I had the small one, opening to good size for 6 placesThis table is absolutely beautiful when put together, wood looks great. I am very pleased with purchase.

The table looks decent now that it is finally assembled but not very sturdy. I will have to strengthen it with additional screws. The instructions were riddled with errors and omissions and in the end we built it without the instructions. This has added unnecessary time to a project that could have been a lot easier if the instructions were at least proofread.We will have to sand and seal the entire table which looks to be porous and to remove the splinters.Customer service was poor and we were asked to send photos of the table instead of just sending us better instructions.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this table as the price seemed too good to be true. Well, after a little bit of re-assembly due to getting some of the bits in the wrong places, it took about 2 hours to assemble and I love it! The only thing is that the catches don't seem do up in the non-extended position, they are also undone in the photo and this seems a little odd as the table moves a lot if the two leaves are not held together. I wonder if the catches are only intended for use when the middle leaf is in position? Anyway, I solved the problem with a couple of hairbands and whilst the table still moves sideways a little, I'm sure it'll be OK. For the price I paid, I'm not in a position to complaint because the table looks like it cost more than double what I actually paid for it. It's not obvious where to store the additional extension leaf, but after looking at one of the photos I've realised that it just slides between the two slats underneath, which is fine for me as I will mostly be using it in the non-extended position and didn't want to have to store this extender.All in all a wonderful, good quality wood kitchen table, thank you Mercers Furniture!

I bought this table because ofthe dimensions listed. I needed a large table that extended, that was sturdy and also wide.The table is very sturdy andit extends to a large size, perfect for family and friend gatherings.Sadly thetable is only 87cm wide where it was advertisedas 90cm wide. This causes problems for activities that we do as a household of gamers. Being 90cm is the minimum for most gaming mats.Otherwise the table is great.
