not upgrade-able to win10
this version will absolutely not take a windows 10 upgrade. they crowbarred in the OS as it is and the UEFI is special....in a bad way.if you dont like to upgrade things then i guess its a good choice...it has a full size USB, miniusb, and mini hdmi out, and a headphone jack. i havent see this many ports on a tablet this size so thats a plus.

not bad for the money.
Works pretty good. Fast enough, good resolution. Perfect for the simple tasks i need it to do like web browsing, playing video and facebooking. Windows 8 is quite different than what im used to.

Good and solid
First it isn't Dell, it's WinBook from MicroCenter! Good and solid, buy I regret not to have purchased the 2G of RAM and 32 GB flash instead :(

Definitely not as nice as my samsung. Was a gift. Will keep as a back up but not as everyday use.

highly recommend this device as a cheap
Runs full Win 8.1 32 bit. Upon starting it up you are left with about 7 GB out of 16. I highly, highly recommend this device as a cheap, quick use tablet. To get more performance out of 1 GB use Pale Moon/Fossa Mail for internet and mail client. These are open source light weights of Firefox and Thunderbird. Uninstall all metro apps. Hit up Control Panel/System/Advanced System Settings/Advanced/Performance Settings and click Best Performance under Visual Effects. Under Advanced (once more) change Virtual memory to 1024. Use a black background. Open up cmd as administrator and disable hibernate (powercfg /h off) as well as dism cleanup (dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase). Throw in a microsd and go to portable apps and get some apps placed onto the microsd. Use this for other files/downloads as well (music movies etc). It supports 64GB so go for that. For what I paid (~60 dollars) the device is incredibly snappy.

Unbeatable functionality for the price
In terms of specifications, the WinBook TW800 is no different than the similarly sized Insignia 8, another Windows tablet in the sub-100 dollar price range. But here's the kicker: the WinBook also features a full USB 3.0 port. Considering buying a decent-sized microSD if you plan on storing any more than ~ 3 GB and/or upgrading to Windows 10. Even without bloatware, the measly 16 GB internal storage is barely sufficient to store music.Like most all tablets, the RAM cannot be upgraded (for about an extra $30 the 802 model gives double the RAM and storage) -- but even as is it had no problem with memory-intensive activities such as watching Netflix.Oh yeah -- if you have a Microcenter nearby, this little gem runs about $65 open box and comes with a year of Office 365.

which I also highly recommend. I wanted something to replace an outdated
Purchased through microcenter, which I also highly recommend. I wanted something to replace an outdated, malfunctioning Toshiba netbook. My primary needs are for bill paying, browsing and online poker, nothing heavy. So far this has been perfect for my needs. FWIW, had I known ahead of time how well it works I would have opted for the 10" model. Far better than the android tabs I've had.
