Surprisingly it works pretty well. I was mostly interested in the macro lens since my phone already has a wide angle lens. I had to remove my phone's case in order to have the lens clip sit level with the phone lens. Also, the clip would only reach the camera lens that was closest to the side edge. Trying to clip from the top of the phone it would not fully reach the lenses so I was only able to test on the standard 1x lens, and could not use it at all on the phone's ultrawide or telephoto lens.The clip is very strong and doesn't slip as long as you don't knock it into something. The macro lens did work and was better than expected.For the macro lens, only the center 60-70% of the image is in focus, there is an outside ring that is out of focus. You could crop the photo and it would work okay, or just leave the out of focus area as a stylistic choice. Ideally the macro lens would just be larger in size to have a larger focus area. Overall however this is a good value to test out a macro or other lens on your phone, with the limitations mentioned above.

It is easy to attach on nice and securely, and it will does not cause any damage your phone. It fits perfectly. It has super wide angles to allow you to capture a more complete scene and image. It also takes beautiful details shots up close and the outcome is amazing.

First, this set looks nothing at all like the listing. In some ways (the clip, which is beefier irl) that’s a good thing. In other ways (there is no hard case, it’s a cheap drawstring bag) that’s not a good thing.However at $5.99 this set still performs significantly better than I expected.I am still on the learning curve, and this set came with no instruction manual, but I have been practicing with the macro lens which is the entire reason I bought it.It’s VERY easy to use. It clips securely onto my iPhone 13 Pro and sits over the macro lens exactly as it should. Without having to adjust any settings, it allows me to get MUCH closer to subjects and get amazing amounts more detail than apple’s default macro settings.I don’t know if this is expected but I do get a very narrow field of focus surrounded by a lot of blur. Unsure if user error, or just the nature of the phone camera.Again, at $5.99 this is almost dollar store pricing, but the quality is significantly better than I would expect from a discount dollar store.
