Got this because it’s an impact socket
1/2” is a popular socket size and 3/8” is my impact size. I obtained this because it’s an impact socket and it’s black. I have an impact gun and needed something to hold up to use by an impact gun because a regular socket is not rated for that. I tried it on a 1/2” bolt head and seemed to fit just fine. I like that you can purchase one socket separately if you just need one socket, so you don’t have to purchase an entire socket set

Not nearly as deep as it could be.
Physically fits just fine on the 3/8" drive end and bolt heads I tried it on. That's good.Even though this is quite long the machined end for the bolt will only let the bolt penetrate about 3/4" deep. Most of the rest of the length of this socket is just wasted. So it could be good to get to a somewhat recessed bolt, but to turn out a very long bolt its not as good.
