Three hints for those DIY'ers.1) The unit is top heavy and awkward. I found it impossible to install the knobs that secure the unit to the bracket with one unit balancing the unit and the other with the knob. I cut a slot each side of the bracket, in this way the main knobs can be left attached.2) The three screws that accept incoming wire were super-torqued. I had to remove the unit and loosen the screws, the reinstall. The main voltage feeds go to a terminal block with capture-clamps (you'll know what I mean when you see them). I found the space available to secure the wire undersized.2a) The use of solid wire is recommended for connection to the terminal block.3) The wiring access is via a bottom panel that swings out - remove the single screw at the bottom front to access. No need to remove the pivot screws on the side.Seems like a good unit for the money. Recommend

Great product easy to install and get up and running. Instructions were easy to read and understand did install in about 1 hour. Works great was 50 degrees out side on 1st startup got up to 70 in about an hour which was understandable as wast that cold. On second day turn on in about an hour and half was up to 70 and was 25 outside so very pleased with purchase

Just installed and appears to be working as it should.3 stars because1. These other reviews are ridiculous and appear to not even be about the heater!2. Installation difficulty was misleading and is anything but easy - most would need to hire an electrician.3. The instructions are wrong. If this thing can pull 42 Amps that’s 6AWG not 10AWG as it states. Not a cheap type of cable to run and nowhere is it mentioned. Instructions mention both 50Amp breaker and a 63 Amp?? breaker and is anything but clear on that front. I ended up using a 50Amp circuit breaker. It also appears to instruct a single pole breaker which I don’t believe can even get 240V so I’m not sure how it would have worked with just one hot and nuteral like it advises to in the instructions. So, in closing, if you already planed to hire a professional electrician to do this, they probably would easily look past the instructions and install this correctly. But if you’re like me and a DIYer, the install is a bit more complicated than the 2nd-hand English instructions provide.
