I didn't think hed actually use it but he goes in there for bone time and ive trained him to go in there for storms. I padded the inside with acoustic foam and the outside with sound dampening "brick" to jazz it up a little bit. Put his favorite blanket and heating pad and he seems to like it. He goes in when theres noises he doesn't like or when he doesn't want to be bothered so i got my moneys worth. It looks better thab the old moving box with a cut out door. Lol

Th insulation is actually inside the panels and covered with a nice sheet of wood inside. Customer service was very fast responding to my questions and explained how the insulation was built as I was under the impression that there were separate pads.The only thing I noticed is that They list the length as 43.3” by giving the dimensions of the roof instead of the main house dimensions which it is really 39.0” longI gave it 5 stars after updating my review thanks to the great customer service. We kept the house and like it.

This dog house is okay. It barely fits my pit bull, for the price i expected it to be a little better than what it is but at least she has shelter from the rain or sun while i am at work.

Metal frame was easy to assemble. Insulated wooden pieces were cut and sized correctly. The roof is hinged with a weather resistant surface. We’ve added a warming pad for cold winter nights (on a covered porch). Black lab immediately adopted it. I highly recommend this doghouse.
