Lennox 13H14 Comfort Sense 7500 Touchscreen Multi Stage Thermostat

Our old thermostat shot craps. This unit is a perfect replacement for an Lennox system. Our HVAC company who we have worked with for years really liked the ease of installation and the functionality of this unit. Very easy to set up and use. Lots of features. Highly recommend

This product states that it's a suitable replacement for the previous thermostat that I had. That may technically be true; it's impossible to tell. This unit has such confusing installation instructions that if you are a DIY homeowner, you will never be able to figure it out. Not only are the installation instructions incredibly convoluted, the actual install manual diagrams are so small and difficult to read that they are almost useless.

Not compatible with our system. Had to return it. It was a bummer.

I replaced the three zone thermostats in my residence with the Lennox Model 7500. They have a very nice user interface, are easy to program and have automatic switchover from heating to cooling. Unfortunately, they are grossly unreliable. One unit lasted almost a year before failing. The replacement unit failed in two weeks. Shortly thereafter yet another unit failed. The replacement unit I ordered was DOA and had to be returned. Suggest avoiding this and similar Lennox thermostats entirely.

We do not Alexa (sorry Amazon), I am not a tech so IDK about their tech support, our three work, so I haven't had to use TechSupport. Overall - they are perfect and user friendly - very user friendly.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love it. We had to get the HVAC tech to install it but he took maybe 15 mind tops and the final result is gorgeous. Upgraded our place in an instant!

The Lennox ComfortSense 7500 is rated one of best programmable thermostats by Consumer Reports. Also, Lennox is rated top overall thermostat manufacturer by JD Power. I'm particularly buying this product because (i) it has an intermittent air circulation feature (even when no heating or cooling is called for) and (ii) it displays the humidity. **W Joseph Mantle, Mechanical Engineer**

If you have the lennox thermostat with 4 wires R, i+, i-, C you will need to rewire both inside A/C unit and outside heat pump over to standard wiring. I was lucky the installers had run a 8 wire cable between the units but had only used 4 wires. However I did need to run two new wires from inside unit down to thrmostat for the new outdoor temp sensor.outside R,C,Y1, Y2, W1, G Temp 7 & 8 wires to inside A/C same letters. Double tap those 5 wires to inside A/C with the same 5 down to thermostat, also adding O & W2 to thermostadt (so all 8 wires are now used) Extra outside 7 & 8 wires to temperature sensor then tie to new wires over to thermostat pins.
