Great for calls, workouts and tracking activity
I don't know why I didn't get this watch sooner. It tracks my workouts and my steps for the day and if I'm sitting too long it encourages me to get up and get moving. I'm able to make call send messages and voice notes all from my watch. Not mention it is so cute the color fits my vibe so perfect. It is strong and for the most part it is waterproof. I got a screen protector for the watch face because I hardly remember that it is on my hand and I'm always moving my hand. You don't have to use those generic screensavers you can add your own picture as a wallpaper. Because it is lightweight I often forget that it is on my hand so it's not heavy at all. When it is full charge the charge lasts for like 2 and a half days. The functionality is great because you can do basically everything that you would on your phone on your watch. The touch sensitivity is also very good especially if you have tiny fingertips L o l.

Works well for Heart rate and exercise tracking
I've had this watch for a while now and it's my first modern watch. I bought it for the heart rate and exercise functions. I connect it via Bluetooth to my Motorola android phone with very few problems. The Samsung health software won't work with my phone, but this is not really an issue for me. This is a fairly complicated device with far more features than I need. I am sure it is capable of many more uses than what I use it for.The sound Quality of the phone itself is a little tinny. I bought this on sale so it was a good value for the money. It is fairly slim and I forget I am wearing it ( I normally wear a heavy Dive watch.) It works very well connecting to my Headphones.

Great watch with one flaw
Pro's -- watch has great functionality (tracks exercise routines, heart rate, sleep, oxygen levels, stress levels, EKG, body composition in addition to phone functions like texts), etc), is easy to set up, tracks steps and heart rate, etc. with accuracy, looks good on, is sturdy, charges quickly and is a good value for the price.Con's -- Battery life leaves a lot to be desired particularly if you are tracking your exercise routine (walking, running, hiking, etc). I start my day with a fully charged watch and after just a morning of exercise such as walking, the battery life will be down to 50% or less. I literally have to charge it at least 2 times a day...sometimes more if I am more active. Fortunately it does charge quickly, but I will look for another Samsung watch with a better battery life next time.

Great Watch but charging can be an issue
I got one from Amazon and returned it because it wouldn' charge. I bought a second locally and love it. Definitely a 5 start product but there is a problem. The charging cable won't work with all USB 5v1A chargers. When the watch is charging a small white lighning bolt lights on the watch face followed by a ring of greeen light and the percent charged in the center. My watch won't charge with a UL listed charger that with other cables always charges phones, hearing aids and bluetooth keyboards with never any problems. With this charger no light goes on and it does not charge. I am presently using another !A charger that so far works fine with the charging cable. I believe there is a manufacturing defect in the USB end of the charging cable. I hope Samsung will take a look at this and correct the problem. The watch itself is outstanding. It keeps track of footsteps and time of exercise and provides a plot of heartrate vs time during exercise. It also keeps track of daily heart rate and gives max and min values hourly. You can make your own exercises so I use a rowing machine and since it didn't have that I made my own exercise for that. The calories may not be right but the exercise duration is properly recorded. You can customize your watch faces and there are quite a few available. You can add weather including temp and wind speed to the watch face as well as steps, heartrate and percent charged. You can set goals for steps, exercise duration and calories. In my case the watch uses about 50% of the charge daily so I shut the watch off at night and recharge it every night. In addition to the watch face illuminating with a wrist flick there is also an always on stting you can activate. With care you could probably get two days out of a charge as long as you didn't want to track your sleep which it can also do.

Samsung loyal customer, never disappointed
I'm a big Samsung Galaxy fan, that's the only phone I've used for years. When I saw the reasonable price for a watch with so many features, I knew this was the one. Being retired and widowed, the fall detection and the Ekg you can take of your heart beat as well as other features offered more than other phones that are in this price range or less. Trusted Galaxy is the way to go in my opinion.

Problems with the watch
I bought this watch because I saw tech articles that highly recommended it. There's a lot about it that I liked. I was very much enjoying the "find my phone" feature, as well as the ease of checking the weather, etc. The layout of the watch is very nice. However... My watch was detecting a fall even when I was sitting still or sleeping and calling 911. Switching off the fall detection didn't help. Turning off the watch didn't even help. The police and EMS came to my house uneccesarily. I ended up uninstalling the app, which makes a lot of the features of the watch useless. I'm afraid to reinstall it, in case this would happen again. I found a Samsung forum about this issue, and it's been going on for a couple of years at least and still hasn't been fixed. I'm still able to use it as a watch and for timers and alarms. Another thing is that the battery needs to be charged pretty much on a daily basis to keep it going without dying. The heart rate detection was just so-so.
