Got this for my nephews 5th birthday and he was so excited when he opened his gift!!! Has not stopped wearing it for a month now!

Good product! The shell is nice - it has a brown ribbon up top to go around the neck and then black straps on the side to connect it to the waist. For a kid, this may be a hazard, but I think you could easily do without the neck strap as long as you have it secured to the waist. The swords are cool and not too realistic which is great for kids. I will say the mask is pretty low-quality - you can make it work but I feel it'd be pretty easy to just make one yourself or throw on a bandana! That was my only qualm with it however, the rest of the costume was great.

My kid has been playing Ninja Turtle game whenever he goes to Chuck E Cheese and thought this character would be best for him. I was excited to give him this set and he was thrilled, but we did find that the eye strap is challenging since some part of the eyes get covered. There's no structural support on the strap, but the turtle shell seems solid and if my 5 yr old is happy, then it's all good!

however, my 3 year old is currently in his TMNT phase and couldn't care less that it looks a little wonky on him. yours probably won't care either. the eye holes are also pretty small, but my child also doesn't care about wearing that he just loves the shell and swords.

This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume is perfect for a fan of the show or movies. It's perfect for Halloween but also just for the costume bin since kids will enjoy it year round. The shell plastic feels very sturdy. It also comes with a bandana and weapon, although I think I'll be storing the weapon away since my child is on the young side for toys like that. The shell slides on easily and can also be used as a shield in imaginative play. If you have mire than one kid, you may bed to get two or you'll be dealing with arguments the whole holiday season.

Super cute dress up set for kids. My son is into the ninja turtles and he loves being able to be one! The shell fits great and I like that it included 2 strap options. He loves the staff (which fits together and locks to form one staff) and the throwing stars are fun too.

for reference, My son is 5 and this fit him well. He really liked it very much. This year he was a ninja turtle and this was pretty much all we needed for a costume. We had everything else at home already. I love simple, all in one costumes. And the price is great too. The plastic is light and the shape is comfortable. The swords stayed put unless he took them out intentionally. The mask wasn't the best and kept slipping off his face. Would have been better with elastic to allow for movement and stretch. Overall this was an easy costume and he loved it.
