This channel works well, it has multiple uses and not just for imbedding in a wall and is very well made.This is designed for embedding into a wall for flush fitting LED tape based accent lighting, it will do this job very well but it also comes in very handy for installing LED tape in areas where aesthetics are not important or places out of sight. It’s also good for use with LED tape lighting installations where the tape will be on or used for long durations as this channel and the design of the wings which are usually used to embed the channel into plaster make for an excellent heatsink.I’ll be using this to install tape underneath my kitchen cupboards and on top of them to provide an upward firing splash of light – I normally use standard silicone enclosed tape but end up changing it once every two years or so as it eventually dims – its on a dusk until dawn setting. Hopefully using this channel will allow the tape to run a lot cooler and extend its life.One thing to note, this is a roughly finished product designed to be embedded into plaster – the corners and holes etc are sharp and have not been de-burred – careful while handling.Highly recommended.

With lots of renovations and plaster-boarding I thought I would pick these up to add some LED strips around. These are very easy to install with some careful placement of screws, I have fixed them into battens making sure the screws don’t sit proud as that pushes off the plasterboard. The aluminium is strong and doesn’t bend as much as others I have used.

Very easy to use trim edge for my led lights to fit into. Nice and robust and look amazing when fitted. There's no sharp protruding metal on them and look the part.
