ebook review
All the expressions of the characters were well written and I really liked the Harry Potter Family Tree and Timeline which is very interesting for a Harry Potter nerd like me. It was nice that there were pictures and a video of the crew practising and doing exercises. It was interesting to read the names of the people who played a role in the play.

A good read
Without revealing (spoiling) it for everyone, I'll try and give an honest review about the script book i just finished reading.1) This is a script book to a play! In 'simple' words, it means the dialogues and story delivery won't be similar to the traditional HP novels. You're just plainly given what the characters say beside their names (with minimal expression description). BUT, the read was still very very fun for me. The writing is not at all stale (as some people claimed a script book might turn out to be). Infact, it'll keep you glued once you're immersed in it.2) The book gives you what was promised! A dive into the old HP world once again, with events from the old books frequently coming into play and a glimpse into the life of our now 'older characters'. At some places (in act two), you might feel like you're going through the old (already much published) concepts of the movies like 'Back to the future' and 'alternate realities' in a magical world. Though, the book does a nice come back (act three, four) and it gets better thereafter.3) It felt like the 8th instalment to the series is like a tribute to the previous story. It brings up some things that were left unsaid by a few characters. Plus, two of the most unlikely kids ( most annoying too, at the start ) and their parents get together to fight a new evil.4) Now some things that were odd, was watching your favourite characters old. And sometimes they got overly cheesy! Also, I think I missed some of the characters that deserved to be there! There is no explanation as to what they were upto during the events of the play.5) Overall, after reading this, I believe the play must have been epic!! Its sad that many of us couldn't watch it, though I'd like to in the future. The script book was a good read and there is no way that HP fans should miss this story even over a thousand bad reviews! So, just get your copy and enjoy.

This book is for all true Potter fans who would like to have a realistic insight into the lives of Harry Hermione and Ron after the Battle of Hogwarts. Whatever Disney style fan fictions you have read so far of Hinny and Ronmione having perfect marriages and perfect parenting skills will not stand in this book. This is the story of their love for each other as friends, their love towards their partners and more importantly the love they have for their children being tested by trials and them emerging victorious over their flaws. This is a story that explores relationships as honestly as possible. there is no sugar coating. everyone has their flaws, nobody is perfect, even the best can make mistakes and all of this is beautifully handled in the story. So go for this only if you can handle honest storytelling. if you want your fairytale inspired fan fiction concepts to remain true then this book isn't for you. Also, the book is written in a play format. so its going to be a different reading experience. A lot is left to the reader's imagination and dont heap the blame on the authors because they did let the fans know well in advance that this is a script. in-depth descriptions of the set and characters, the internal monologues of the characters and the mood descriptions, none of these aspects will be present, the reader is free to have their own interpretations which I found liberating.
