OEM quality that fits my Gaggia E24
The Gaggia E24 is such an improvement over the earlier models - the copper boiler makes all the difference! However, Gaggia really needs to improve on the cup size that will fit between the portaflter and the drip pan. I prefer americano and cappuccino coffees but the cup size I would like to use doesn't fit even after I replaced the Gaggia portafilter with a bottomless one.So, I replace the drip pan with this low profile pan. The product description doesn't state that it fits the 2024 E24 but as the attached picture shows, it fits fine. The two small rubber feet on the bottom of the pan locks it in place when installed such that you have to lift the pan slightly to remove it. Great, no sliding out when removing the scale like the OEM one! The low profile pan is the same wall thickness as the OEM pan - not some cheap thin stuff. The drain pipe supplied with the low profile pan fits fine and the rubber burn block (Gaggia's name for that rubber on the drain tube) slipped on easily. After looking at several drip pans on Amazon and elsewhere that were all more expensive that this one, I figured, what the heck, that I would it a try. I'm really glad I did as I couldn't ask for a better drip pan. Same quality of construction as the OEM pan, it fits my E24 like the OEM, and now I can use my larger cups with the scale.

Gaggia classic pro e24 exact fit
Exact fit for a Gaggia Classic Pro e24 . The drain pipe does not slip/fall like the factory one. Bar spring not needed since my e24 already has a 9 bar spring.

Good fit
The low profile drip tray fits really well. The extended SS tube is also good and fits OK with a little wobble at the end. I have not installed the included springs

Fit a Gaggia Classic Pro
The "Low Profile Thin Drip Tray & 6 Bar 9 Bar 12 Bar OPV Spring Modification Kit " is a generic no-brand item which came neatly packaged in a cardboard carton. The drip tray fit well on my Gaggia Classic Pro and you are to reuse the metal screen. You change the existing straw to this longer straw. This has given me the option to place a scale and a give under the portafilter. There were no indications in the packaging regarding the different springs and there were no directions on changing them. The product page gives this information on the different springs and their size. There are youtube videos on changing the pressure. I used the 9 bar and the quality of the shots have improved.

now I can start a capucino right under the classic's portafilter
The space where the glass goes is limited. This 1/2 height makes the gaggia more usable. The only trick I needed (from other plumbing info) was that one must boil the former outflow pipe for a second or 2 to transfer the decorative rubber gasket from the old to the new drain pipe.

Most of it fit my older Classic
My espresso shots greatly improved when I landed a pristine used Gaggia Classic machine a few months ago. My machine is the true and original classic. It was made long before Philips bought the company and began making changes to the machine. I love my machine, but almost immediately, I felt the pain of having very little space between the portafilter and the drip tray. Some of my Cortana glasses would fit but not with scale under them. This thin drip tray kit works well for me. It is not all perfect though. There are some things you need to know if you have an older machine like mine.- The tray fits but it is not exact proportions. Maybe the try fits the newer Gaggia Classic Pro models a bit better, but it works well on mine (see photos). Though, it is not a perfect fit as you can see.- The kit comes with the needed longer pressure relief steel tube. Great! Easy mode and works perfectly. See the attached photo of the included tube next to the original.- The springs are unnecessary for my machine. My machine is old enough that you could still change the pressure by just a turn of screw head. So make note of that if you have a true classic. For most though, these springs will be great. I recommend the 9 bar spring.- Finally, know that the thin drip tray brings enough room to fit my small cortado glasses and scale, but still not enough for my larger latte mugs. So, I still end up just removing the drip tray altogether for some of my shots. I do have a true bottomless portafilter handle that I use most often. It does give me a tad bit of extra room.In the end, I am glad that I brought the kit. It is quality enough that it should serve anyone just fine.

I would not recommend this.
CONs: the long tube is narrower than stock tube and it's wobbly and it can easily misplace the end of tube from the hole in stainless steel part. Which that can lead the water to not go inside the tray but on top of stainless steel part or splash everywhere. The low profile drip tray is a bit larger for stainless steel part. The stock stainless part sits lose. I don't have a pressure gauge to check the springs but I hope they are accurate.PROs: drip tray is ok quality and same for long tube. Came in a plain thin box. The photos doesn't show the rubber for long tube but there is one included.I gave it two stars because of the value but if I knew all this, I would've not order it.
