The hub is light with smooth bearings and it's a big plus that it can be converted to a thru-axle. I just don't like the core part for shimano HG it's very weak I ordered these jg bike hubs and less than 6 months it broke, at least the seller on Amazon sells you the core as a spare so you can continue riding and fix the bike. The rest has good noise and moves well. They should improve the quality of the coreOn the other hand, the seller has a page on instagram JG BIKE If you are going to buy this jg bike hub set, also buy the spare part of the core so that it will last you a whole year. The sound is very good.Greetings good luck

Bought the XD Hubset with a separate HG Driver body for a Gravel bike build. Hubs are very clean and minimal with graphics, which I like. Very good bearings, nice QR and machined disc rotor face which you can't really see in the photos. 14g DT spokes fit great and the QR Endcaps are very tight tolerance, I had to remove some of the thick power coating in the frame's rear stainless dropout for them to slide into place. They ride very smooth and the freehub buzzes like a nest of Alabama red wasps.Gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. First, the XD driver body is the road version (XD-R) and includes a spacer for 11 speed, but the HG is 34.95mm Mtn spaced, not the 36.75mm Road that could also use a spacer for 8-10 speed. I know the hubset is titled as Mountain, but it is limiting the cassette options for a modern well built wheel and since the XD is road spaced, it would make sense. I'll post a question on their S-ROAD cassettes to see if they will work on their own hubs. Second, documentation is non existent. Nothing came with either the hubset or the driver body, and I can't find anything on their website. Even sent an email from the Contact Us page I found, but no reply. Had to check YouTube for swapping driver bodies and actually figured out it just slides off by grabbing the rear hub by it and seeing it moved down the axle. At least the endcaps had a video on Amazon. I would use them again but might consider other options with a road HG body.
