I bought this dock for my MacBook Pro and because im a vintage apple collector as well so I thought it would look great in my office. I Love the customizable screen on this dock and may end up keeping it just for that. However, for my specific purposes it wasn't perfect. It only supports one external monitor (was able to easily support my HDMI connected ultra wide monitor with no issues) and you can plug in 2 external monitors but it just mirrors those instead. (picture included).My secondary monitor is a thunderbolt LG monitor and this dock only supports HDMI monitors. so for me its not going to be my main dock however if you are only wanting to support 1 external monitor for your Mac it will work perfectly!I also tested this dock connected to an iPad Pro and it was able to mirror the screen and would extend the screen as well if I had an M1 iPad Pro. it recognized ethernet on the iPad and worked really great for that too.

The media could not be loaded. It's the closest to a classic mac model and much better than those 3D printed models. It can play photos and videos (with sound) beside being a USB and HDMI hub. It can also be used for SD cards. Transfer of files and videos is very easy. The video you see is from a mac emulator that I recorded and put on the unit for video playback. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I have not found a way to loop the videos. There's loop playback of photos, but not sure about videos. Also, it would be super cool if you could use this as an extra monitor (having a video input). It seems to be built with high quality material and should last a long time.

I didn’t expect the screen to be this clear. It's small but feels good quality, and it seems like it would be easy to replace if needed (especially if you’re tech-savvy). I’ve set it up with a slideshow of my favorite images from my daily photographs and it makes it something to look at, especially compared to my bulky USB hub designed for heavy data transfers. If you’re looking for a daily-use gadget that’s practical, enjoyable, and fits seamlessly on your desk setup, this is the way to go.

Cool looking product that works pretty well. For looks and ease of use it’s great. I dislike the lack of control/customization (you can’t even shuffle photos when used as a frame). Kind of an awkward menu. Unable to supply power from usb ports on its own. Monitor support for Mac is just mirroring.

I was looking for docking station for a while, and also need to be stylish. I came across the product and decide to buy it. Very easy to set up and connect to my monitors. I also like the function of digital clock. The only thing is not sure why the charger is a bit big what I expect. The rest of are good.

It's cute, but that's about all it's got going for it. It's kind of weird that it's modeled after the Mac SE/Classic and it doesn't properly support Mac laptops. My intention wasn't even to use it with multiple monitors, but it took 15 minutes just to get a signal out of the device on a single monitor. Additionally, it's supplying no power to my MacBook. (Yes, I tried both USB-C ports.) I understood when I bought this that it 1) had limitations (limited Mac support which, again, is very dumb) and 2) was overpriced. However, I did expect it to at least supply power and work without a lot of effort.Beyond the lack of advertised functionality, the interface on the devie itself is very limited and unintuitive. It was my understanding that you could easily change the display to any of the options advertised on this Amazon product page, but I couldn't find an option to do that. I'm not implying that it's not there—just that I looked through all the settings and couldn't find it. I'd bother looking more if the device actually worked as advertised, but since I'm going to be returning this cute, disfunctional waste of money, I don't see any reason to bother discovering a setting I'll never use...if it exists at all.Needless to say, this purchase was very disappointing. I'd love it if it worked properly, but I already have a $20 USB-C mini dock that works significantly better. I guess I'm sticking with that. Don't waste your money on this thing.
