Absolutely fantastic cookbook specific to crockpots!
The first thing I noticed upon flipping through my Kindle version of this book was how fantastic the artwork, photography, and formatting is. Author Lisa Larson clearly put a great deal of work into making this book aesthetically pleasing and very functional in ebook format. Great job, Lisa!I've been cooking roasts in my crockpot for about 5 years now, and I figured it is time for me to up my game regarding both quality of my current recipes and experimenting with new recipes. And "The Super Easy Crock Pot Cookbook 2024" will definitely help me succeed with both of those goals. In the first 10 pages of her book, Larson explained a number of simply strategies that will improve my current recipes. She offered advice on layering the ingredients for specific outcomes, as well as searing specific ingredients (meats, herbs, spices) before putting them into the crockpot. These have been questions in my mind for a long time, and now I have structured guidelines to follow! The range of recipes is fantastic. I have never done desserts in my crockpot, and I am now ready to try a few. I love that I can choose very healthy ingredients (dark chocolate, almond flour, etc.) to make tasty and not-so-unhealthy desserts. Also, Larson included a good sampling of vegetarian meals, which will be nice when cooking for my girlfriend. In summary, I'm really excited about the years of recipes I have to look forward to. I appreciate the technical advice, and I was really impressed with the graphic content and formatting in this superb cookbook. I highly recommend!!

Love this Cookbook... but with a Caveat for Kindle Readers!
My wife and I love cooking, so we love finding resources with cooking methods we haven't tried. As far as for crockpots, I didn't realize there were so many meals and so many great recipes using a crockpot. For slow cooking, our repertoire was confined to only a few dishes. Desserts with a crockpot! Who knew? "Crockpot Apple Crisp" (Kindle pg. 114) is definitely one I'm going to try this week. There's even a 30-Day Meal Plan (Kindle pg. 124). There is a HUGE CAVEAT, however. If you buy this book using Kindle, it is not particularly Kindle Friendly. Each page is like a picture, so the font does not adjust as it does in electronic devices. The photo, with the recipe and instructions do enlarge, but you have to move the photo around in order to read it. It doesn't have the usual Table Contents to easily and conveniently find your section either; however, the Table of Contents photo page is hyperlinked, so you can get to the chapter sections okay (I had to use a stylus on my iPhone because my man-fingers are just too big). I've included a photo of the Table of Contents page. Nevertheless, and that little picadillo notwithstanding, there are so many excellent, easy-to-follow recipes in this cookbook that there's no way I could not give it a 5-star review. I realize there are some who will knock their review down to a 3-star, even 2-star review, but I think the content more than justifies the Kindle price. In fact, I may even purchase the printed book just because the recipes in the book are outstanding. Well done, Lisa Larsen! Highly recommend.

No servings???
Out of this entire book, there are four recipes that show the serving amounts. The recipes seem great, although I have only tried a few so far. But I have to put the entire recipe into my fitness pal to figure out how many servings to have. Major overlook lol.
