Good choice, would purchase again.
This shade cloth is a tight weave. Very little air blows through, but definitely blocks the sun, which is why we purchased it. For esthetic, we bought brown, keep in mind that the darker color does attract the heat of the sun. I wish I would have thought of that. I was thinking a lighter color would show more dirt. The outer edge is thick reinforced canvas, but even so, one grommet came apart when putting it up. It looks very nice. It was hung on a fence. The measurement was spot on.

Smaller than advertised
The package said shade measured 12 x 20 feet. It was only 11feet 6 inches wide which made it very difficult to put up. The distance between the house and the poles were put up to accommodate a 12 foot wide shade ( which was what we were replacing). The bungees weren’t long enough to make up the difference. Had to purchase all new bungees. It is over the driveway and it definitely blocks out more light than the previous shade. If it weren’t for the size difference, would give it 5 stars.

Grommets sewn into border every 18 inches!
I like the sewn in grommets every 18 inches along the entire border. I'm counting on it to hold up well...I hope I am right.

This are Okay but it will last just one year
Every year I purchase one of this things for my pool equipment. They fine but here in Arizona only last me a year. I wish coolaroo had this sizes then I would only have to buy one. … but for the price they are worth it.By the way they come with some elastic things to hold them up… they are garbage… they will brake in 2 days… just find another way to hold them up and will last a year or maybe two if you are lucky! 😁
