FCX24M FMS 1/24 RC Crawler, Land Rover Family, Off-Road RC Rock Crawler with Lighting Effects, Speed Switch and Accessory Packs, RC Cars for Adults (Defender 110)

This thing for $120 is a huge deal right now. It comes with oil filled shocks, good sticky tires w/ foam inserts. 2 speed transmission. Axial trucks that cost more, don’t even come with these amenities, you’re pretty paying for the brand name of the stuff Axial puts on their R/Cs like licensed tires and bodies. I got the Range Rover after reading and looking at reviews and I’m very satisfied. Really close tie with the D110 and Disco.So something to think about though is that if you’re going for a hardcore crawler this may not be the best choice from FMS to get, you might want to look into the other FCX24s out there because the platform from the get go accepts more aftermarket stuff to make it very competitive.The Camel Trophy series (FCX24M) is more aimed at “to scale” R/C performance which is fine because out of the box they look amazing and come with plenty of decals to make it yours. The FCX24M DOES have after market support via (RCAWD, Batrazzi, Injora, FMS) but with the design and using the bodies from factory it will take a little more work to hardcore upgrade the FCX24M.These 1/24 scale are so fun though because you can R/C anywhere even in a garden with a few stones laying around it’s trying to conquer the obstacles and again because of the size you can use them indoors trying to climb the couch and stuff. It’s really a great way to relax. I hope this review helps. I’ll post pictures later as this is more of a brief review right now.

Everything is awesome about this truck except for the steering servo freaking out and locking up. Uncertain if it was the controls electronics or the steering servo, but that failed within the 1st day of playing.

Solid rig and capable. I bought the D110 shortly after getting the Discovery. I’ll end up with all 4, I’m sure.They’re just as capable as the Axial SCX24, if not better…and look far better with the hard body.I used the same photo (son and I trailing) for my review of the Discovery.

All smiles! We charged the battery and set up a little course in the living room using the couch and some of the kids foam squares, Legos etc and had an absolute blast. Can't wait to play around with this little FCX24M Defender 110 out on some real rocks and dirt!#FMS #FCX24M #RCTRUCK

Good quality. My 3rd one however the 90 did have a issue with the motor noise but the seller was able to do a return exchange.

I like it. I don't like how they tried to sneak in a small than normal servo.. it's 1.5 mm smaller than standard micro servo so you will have to find someone making an upgraded servo mount or wait a couple weeks to get a replacement servo from fms.

The ECS is not and will not turn on, as soon as I plug the battery back in the ESC instantly gets hot to the touch. It's brand new, has not been used till I opened it. When contacted seller for troubleshooting assistance seller was unhelpful and kept telling me the car is dirty and needs cleaned. It's fresh from the box, no modifications, fully stock and doesn't work. Do not recommend this brand.

This car is fine but I think amazon ships the v1 version. The v1 version differential gears can shatter under any stalled load. After some research, I found out that this flaw was fixed in the v2 model, but this requires a v2 gear and differential gear housing. I had to reach out to the seller and get replacement parts. This is fine but not an ideal experience. If it came as the v2 version, this would be 5 stars. I am very handy and I don't expect everyone to make this repair.
