Best of Bora Bora: Create the vacation of a lifetime

My trip to Bora Bora was not at a luxury hotel, I wanted to stay longer (8 days) so I had to spread the money pretty thin. I was hoping for more of a general island guide but it turned out to be more of a luxury resort/spa guide, what other information it contained, weather etc, I was already aware of from online research. The majority of Americans stay in the luxury resorts and have little interest in dealing with the challenges of navigating a foreign culture, if this is you, then this may be your book.

I thought this book was very unique and gave it as a wedding gift to the couple going to bora bora whom felt it was very interesting.

This book is packed with helpful information about Bora Bora. Sections of the book are aimed at visitors with different interests. I recommend.

Good overall information. A little heavy on the high end resorts, but if that is what you are interested in they do a great side by side comparison. They also review the best restaurants, beaches, spas, etc.

Focuses on the 2 most expensive resorts with an overview of some other resorts, wish it covered a little more of the mainland

Book should include photos! There are none. Also , authors seem to be promoting 3 resorts mostly and give hardly any info. on other accommodations. It’s as if they have received compensation from these resorts or hope to as payback for their promotion.

It’s definitely an informative book, but, I believe, it could be better illustrated by images.

Bora Bora. Great place. It's nice to have a book on it.

rather a waste of time

Also...ich bin enttäuscht.Der schönste Ort der Welt und dann nur Text...keine Bilder!Das Buch sollte ein Geschenk sein und ist so gar nicht das, was ich mir vorgestellt hatte...Den Inhalt kann man sich genauso an Infos zusammengoogeln.Ist das Geld nicht wert.

I've been on the website and found it very useful, so I bought the Kindle version as it's a format I can read at leisure and add bookmarks to pages etc. I've read the first chapter and already got my moneys worth. It's saved me so much research time. The Kindle book is brilliant, because I can travel around carrying the whole book with the application on my Phone and laptop. No need for the internet to be connected .. I can read the book on the plane .. anywhere.. The range of topics covered is vast and there is information in the book that I have not found anywhere on the net. Well worth the money !!
