I'm 80 years old, 5'9", 180 lbs and the bursae behind my knees has been bothering me from Pilates and aquafit. My Pilates instructor recommended knee braces. I literally looked at every one Amazon has--none of which have really good reviews. I settled on this one, ordered 2, one for each knee, and have been surprised. My knees and lower thigh area are large, as you can tell from my weight, but I can get the straps to wrap around. I gave them 4 stars for comfort as the straps behind my knees cut into the leg somewhat and are not comfortable for the knee bending we do in Pilates--and would be true of Yoga also, I imagine. They would be fine is one doesn't need to bend the knees beyond 90 degrees. I am still playing with the strap placements to try to compensate. I didn't expect these to do much, but surprisingly they do. They have made a definite difference in post exercise pain reduction. Another benefit I hadn't really thought about beforehand is the extra padding around the kneecap makes exercises done on one's hands and knees MUCH better.

Build quality is very good and sturdy, it fits well and provides good support during knee issues!

I purchased two of these because my new insurance will not approve gel injections that I have had success with for years. I have worn knee braces off and on for years also just as extra support when needed. I tried these since I was having so much pain that it was causing my hip to hurt as well. I like these very much except the extra smaller straps are sometimes a bit much. They don't get as hot as some others and fit really well without slipping. We will see how the velcro holds up. I have had braces that the velcro doesn't hold onto the fabric after a short time. So far, so good.

The knee braces fairly comfortable once you get the straps in the right place. However, look at the imprint left on the knee. If I take the brace off to put on a pair of shorts or to go somewhere, look what my knee looks like. I don't like this at all. I have another brace that I purchased at the same time, very similar different brand and it does the very same thing. I'm undecided if I'm going to return them or not. I'm still thinking about that.

It's comfortable to wear and gives my meniscus in my knee the support it needs. I walk 5 miles per day with it on, pain free!It's washable and it does well in the dryer

Being a runner for the last 7 years, I would get runner's knee flare ups from time to time. I decided to invest in a knee brace to see if it would help, and I was thoroughly surprised by how much better my knee felt after putting it on. It does get a little hot during the summer, but the comfort is totally worth it.

I like it because it’s easy to put on, fully adjustable , breathable. I have a bone spur under my knee cap so when I wear it the brace stabilizes my knee cap so it doesn’t slide across the he spur. I can ride my bike again.
