Have used peppermint to protect poultry, and citronella separately against fleas. These packets seemed a good idea to ward off rodents invading my aviary, which is expertly guarded by my Pomeranian.Well, the packets have been beind the aviary and just inside the garage door for 2 days now, no sign of unwanted visitors and the Pom seems under-employed.Recommended these packs to my gardener, who took a rather enthusiastic sniff which nearly knocked him off his feet!Am very impressed with this product despite the high price, certainly recommend.

The smell was terrible. So strong, I had to put all the products in the garden even though they were meant to keep in the house.A complete waste of time and money, no recommendations for this product,

Had an issue with rats coming into the garden for a few months, since putting these at their entry points, I haven't seen one rat. Got them dotted around the garden and put above/below bird feeders. I read that people said they disappeared- so i put a small hole through and tied them with shoe laces, there still there 3 weeks later. fingers crossed that seems to be working. Word of advice - don't breathe in when opening packet, I nearly choked!!

Problem with rats raiding my bird table, chewing through the plastic rodent guard. So I pinned one of these satchets up inside it. The rats loved it - they started eating it! The birds didnt though. They've all gone.... So what do I do now? Odd, because they work well deterring mice in the larder
