Wet & Forget Outdoor Moss, Mold, Mildew, & Algae Stain Remover Multi-Surface Cleaner, Xtreme Reach Hose End, 48 Fluid Ounces

I’ve used Wet and Forget for pump for years and love it. We wanted the hose connection Extreme for the hose connection. This is more concentrated than the wet and forget that you mix 1:5 and the hose makes large and hard to reach areas easier.The main positive is:1. You can do large area with fan nozzle and far distance with other nozzle.2. Like that you see foam when on (this confirms that it’s on).3. Like that you can turn on water without product.4. Like that it didn’t leak around hose connectorThe main negatives:5. It didn’t cover 2000 sq feet. I contacted company and they said coverage is only 750-1000 square feet if you are using on a porous surface. We used on bluestone and vinyl siding. Although Bluestone is porous, we didn't spray extra due to fast absorption. Our overall coverage was close to 1000-1200 sf.6. Spray and distance nozzle kept coming off. By the time I was able to turn off sprayer and put nozzle back on, product was misdirected and wasted.7. Difficult to turn off for nozzle or location change. While struggling you are misdirecting and wasting product. Note: I have used other products with hose spray applicator that made on and off easy. I sent a photo of one to the manufacturer.I’m hoping company can make improvements to the applicator. While description states up to 2000 sf, product should indicate coverage will be 750-1000 sf when used on a porous surface (e.g.,brick, driveway, roof, paver, etc). I'm also hoping that I will get the same good result over time as I normally get with the regular Wet and Forget. Since results not immediate, time will tell.

I am amending my review after a few calls to the customer service.The nozzle was no good. I connected the nozzle with the hose and opened the water faucet. Water spurted out all over. There is no instruction sheet. Not knowing what to think of I thought maybe the string tying the aiming tip should be cut to allow the nozzle to come out fully; maybe there is something sealing the water. No! The nozzle simply flies out as soon as I turned the water on. I called the customer service. After a long weekend I finally was able to talk to the customer service. Of course she understood! She immediately shipped a replacement nozzles out to me. This 4 star is for the customer service. I just applied the washer. I am waiting to see the result.

I've used this product on decks, roofs and concrete driveways. The sprayer blew apart and will not work. My first bottle did the job for a few years. but this year when I tried, the nozzle shot out of the front and water sprayed from all the joints of the sprayer. I bought another one and again it blew apart. I was drenched with whatever the solution is. I will call customer service and the other reviewers did and see if they can fix this frequent issue. Or I'll try the hack I just saw on Youtube

Fortunately I ordered 2 bottles. One leaked really bad; half the product was in the plastic bag. Amazon accepts no responsibility! Wet It is shipping a replacement. I had no problem with the sprayer, but I couldn’t get 30 feet out of it; probably 15. I did watch a utube video that suggested using a shut off on the end of the hose with quick connect attachments and that worked really well. I have to see how well it works in time, but I’m hopeful. Not happy with Amazon!Second day, got better range out of the sprayer. Seems like it works better when it isn’t full,Got really good range with the stream noodle versus fan

Excellent product but the shipper needs to better package the bottle with the hose nozzle. It came in a sealed plastic bag inside the shipping box, and the plastic bag has a lot of the liquid in the bag because the nozzle gets banged around in the box and it leaked into the bag. But otherwise, good product.

I have used this product previously with very good results in cleaning moss from my roof. That is why when I needed to remove moss this year I chose this. I attached the spray bottle with its chemical to my garden hose. On turning on the water supply the end of the applicator shot off thus gushing cleaning fluid and water all over me and my clothes. I was finally able to shut off the flow but not before soaking me and wasting the product I paid for. I put the end back on, tried again with the same disappointing results. As I said earlier I like the product but will never use it again due to the applicator.

See new notes! Initial problem resolved - good customer service.The applicator indeed is terrible. Broke with the first try at application. Luckily, I started with a spray of water to see what the pressure and reach would be, because I got soaked. At least it was without giving me a chemical bath. I have a call in to the manufacturer, so we will see how this gets resolved. And then I will update on functionality and results.Edit: They expedited a new nozzle to me and it worked as it should. I sprayed the side of house that has moss quite easily. The spray reached the peak of my 2 story house and then some. The moss was quite heavy in some spots and fairly widespread over the entire side. I used quite a bit of product. It was lighter the next day and turned to light tan the 3rd day and is now almost gone. Good job!

I applied on the front path as my other videos will show. A few days later the mold was gone and still gone now about 30 days later. easy to use, will apply it now to the roof and I will do another video for that.

I applied it with a hose sprayer bought from them. It rained about 10 hours later. I did not see any difference in the black stains on my roof. This was a waste of money and time.
