This will be used on my summerhouse when it’s finished which will be my garden salon, ideal for this.Looks good quality & is well-made.The alarm loud when it does go off & there are flashing red lights which make it extra great. I ordered this door and window alarm sensor from the seller Oocome. It has proven very useful to me, although it requires particular circumstance. It’s very easy to attach to the window (or door frame) using adhesive. You basically just line up one part on each side, and the alarm is set when the sensor connects to the other side. It basically relies on a burglars not noticing it is there, to set it off, or noticing it is there, but not being able to reach it, as a deterrent.It also really needs someone close by to react when the alarm is tripped. Either yourself on a shed or gate, or an inquisitive neighbour. So it’s not for property left unattended.The noise is loud enough to give someone a start and hopefully scare them enough to make them run off. In this sense, it’s rudimentary, but for the price (currently reduced to £9.99) it is a very useful gadget. Easy enough to move an instal in a different location as well if you need to, so it can work for travellers and people staying alone in hotel rooms or university halls. The only thing I would say is it’s a little large if you are travelling; I’ve had similar previously that were smaller.Four stars.

The package consists of a small alarm box powered by two AAA batteries (not included), two remotes (batteries included) and a door magnet. The only means of attaching either the alarm box or the door magnet is with the included double sided sticky pads. The alarm can be activated or deactivated using the remote and pressing the SOS button sets the alarm off.The alarm is quite loud but is only good if you right by it. For instance if it was on the garage or shed, the likelihood of hearing it is reduced. There is also a flashing red light, but that is only any good if you are in the same room as the appliance.I feel it would work well on a window, especially a ground floor bedroom window when the occupant would be immediately alerted by both the alarm and the flashing light.It plays a number of selectable tones/tunes some designed as simple door chimes and others as alarms.I feel it has limited applications at at £23.99 is over priced.

This handy little alarm arrives inside a small easy to recycle cardboard box. Both small and lightweight parts are well made from a hardish plastic. Which makes these both durable and portable.Installation isn't complicated, no drilling is required. Just stick the smaller of the parts to a door or window and the larger part to the door/window frame. The sticky pad is strong enough to hold the parts in place, but it can be removed if needed.For example, in a hotel room, not the sort of place you want to place this alarm permanently. But it could warn you if any hotel staff try to enter your room while you're sleeping.You also only get one set of pads in the box. But it wouldn't be difficult to cut something suitable to size from another type of adhesive pad.Though, as with anyone alarm, the real test is how it performs. Which, like most magnetic/break sensor types, is something that this one does very well.It's nicely loud and with the flashing light, it's a very good deterrent. And not only for humans, if you place one of these on your cat flap, you'll save a fortune in pet food!Though what's extra cool with this one is has two remote controls. Which allows for convenient arming and disarming. Plus the remotes allow you to choose from 16 different sounds and adjust the volume.The only downside is the remotes don't flash if the alarm is triggered.Plus there's no low battery warning on either the remote or the parts. But overall it's a great little gadget, especially for travelers who need a temporary security solution for hotel rooms or rentals.

The unit actually works very well and the adhesion is fair (to the wood in my shed).What let's this down is that it has buttons on the side so if somebody got into the shed, they could see the buttons or even mute the alarm whilst scrambling to cover or rip off the alarm from the wood.The alarm itself is fairly loud and has a number of tones and volumes. The remotes are useful. I accidently left them in the rain but they withstood this.Nice product, just wish the buttons were on the inside or back of the unit.

Dieses Produkt wurde mir zu Testzwecken vom Hersteller zur Verfügung gestellt, der aber keinerlei Einfluss auf meine Bewertung genommen hat (was ich auch nie zulassen würde).Kommen wir zur Bewertung:Vorab gilt es zu bedenken: Hier geht es nicht um einen professionellen Schutz gegen Einbrecher, sondern eher um eine schnell anzubringende, preiswerte Behelfslösung. Unter diesem Aspekt erfolgt auch meine Bewertung.Das Gerät kommt in einer Pappschachtel mit deutschsprachiger Anleitung und zwei Klebepads, um den Melder und den Magneten befestigen zu können. In der Anleitung steht, dass man den Magneten maximal 0,7cm vom Melder entfernt platzieren soll. Ich habe das mal getestet. Dabei fällt zunächst auf, das der Melder kurz aufleuchtet, wenn der Magnet in Reichweite kommt, oder sie wieder verlässt, wobei er, wenn er scharf geschaltet ist, dann natürlich Alarm gibt. Das Ganze funktionierte aber einwandfrei bis zu knapp 2cm Abstand, also besser als gedacht!Man kann unter diversen Melodien und einem Alarmton wählen. Zur Abschreckung würde ich aber auf das nett anzuhörende "Telefongeklimper" verzichten, und den schrillen Alarmton auswählen.Die beiden Fernbedienungen zu pairen ist kein Problem, und hat man das getan, benötigt man die Bedientasten direkt am Melder nicht mehr.Für den Betrieb werden eigentlich 3V, also Batterien, empfohlen, mit NiMH Akkus mit niedriger Selbstentladung geht es aber auch. Stimmen die Angaben zum Standby Verbrauch, dürfte der Melder mit einem frisch geladenen Akkusatz in etwa 1 Jahr zurecht kommen. Sogar der Stromverbrauch bei maximaler Alarmlautstärke wird in der Anleitung angegeben. Der liegt natürlich rd. 2.000 mal höher.Ob die dort ebenfalls angegebenen 100dB maximaler Schalldruck (lediglich in 10cm statt der sonst üblichen 1m Abstand) erreicht werden, kann ich nicht nachprüfen, wenn man aber so in 1m Abstand davor sitzt, ist der Alarm m.E. gerade so laut, dass er einen überraschten Einbrecher erschrecken könnte. Es gibt da sicherlich lautere Melder, aber die sind dann entweder größer oder teurer, oder beides.Die Sender enthalten übrigens eine CR2032 Batterie, sind mit einer Kreuzschlitzschraube gesichert, lassen sich aber, wegen der vielen Klipse und Laschen, halbwegs einfach nur mit einem entsprechenden Plastiktool öffnen. Ein Batteriewechsel ist also mit etwas Fingerspitzengefühl möglich.Fazit: Wer auf der Suche nach einem guten Einbruchsschutz ist, muss mehr Geld ausgeben, aber als ggf. vorübergehender oder zusätzlicher Schutz ist dieses schnell zu montierende Gerät geeignet. Für das erzielte Ergebnis und die eingesetzte Technik ist der Preis absolut i.O..

Also was mir als erstes aufgefallen ist: Das Pairing der Fernbedienungen mit dem Alarm ist super simple und ich bin mir nicht mal sicher, ob ich überhaupt was koppeln musste. Die Verarbeitung sieht gut aus, wirkt soweit alles ordentlich und durchdacht. Die Reichweite zwischen Fernbedienung und Alarm ist jedoch extrem gering, eine Betonwand dazwischen und nichts passiert mehr. Durch meine dicke Holztür gab es jedoch keine Problem. Mich persönlich stört die geringe Reichweite nicht.Besonders gut gefällt mir an dem Teil hier, dass die Toleranz zwischen Magneten und Alarm selber hoch genug ist, damit man auch nicht bündig schließende Türen absichern kann. Denn mehr wollte ich gar nicht.Alles andere wurde zum Glück schon von anderen ausführlich zerpflückt. So muss ich das nicht machen.Fazit: Einfacher, aber brauchbarer Tür-Alarm mit Fernbedienung. Schlicht, schick und funktionell. Laut genug ist der Alarm ebenfalls. Meine Erwartungen hat er jedenfalls getroffen und auch keine unliebsamen Überraschungen auf Lager. Daher volle Punktzahl und eine Empfehlung.
