Day Therapy Cream with 15% Clycolic Acid Solution

I had originally found this cream in a TJ Maxx and have been getting it here on Amazon for over a year. I love this cream! I know there are a lot of negative comments, but to answer the complaints:1. Made my skin red: This is a 15% Glycolic Cream, even if you don't have sensitive skin, It Will Make Your Skin Red after applying. I have Very sensitive skin and simply referred to the directions on the box which states if you are new to glycolic acid, then use it only every other morning for 1-2 weeks to get your skin used to it. After the initial 1 to 2 weeks is over, you can use it daily. Additionally, as with ANY product that contains an acid it can make your skin photosensitive, so you need to use a sunblock or a moisturizer with a good SPF (as you should be anyway), otherwise the moment you go into the sun, your skin will turn red. After the initial breaking in period was over I used it every morning, a month after that I began to use it in both the morning and the evening, then I apply my SPF moisturizer after the glycolic has absorbed. Since I have started to use it it has made my skin tighter, Very dewy looking and has gradually shrunk my pores, and I have also experienced only periodic blemishes, but after extracting them I put this cream on and they are gone in a day.2. This isn't really 15%- Yes, it is. And to the folks that say it isn't because their faces didn't peel 3 layers after a single use, understand that this isn't an unbuffered glycolic acid solution that's applied directly to skin like in a doctor's office for a peel. This is 15% Glycolic acid that is buffered and suspended and in a cream that is meant for maintenance and daily use at home, the effects of which are cumulative over time. If you are looking for a Peel, then go to a dermatologist/doctor, or get an actual peeling solution (use at your own risk if doing it yourself), peeling is not what this cream is for.So with all of that being said, I am a very big fan, I think this it is an Excellent value and if you are wanting to incorporate an acid product into your skincare routine, then this is definitely a fantastic option, just be sure you follow the directions, start out slow, and always wear your SPF (the one I use is Olay Complete Lotion Moisturizer with SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin).

Rich, absorbent cream for daily use as part of my anti-aging regiment. Never give up ladies & gentlemen!!! I've tried many, many products since my mid-fifties, eliminating some, adding others. What I have found.....different products work for different people, $$$$$ does not necessarily mean 'best' for my skin, Glycolic Formulations works for me.

I think the night cream is more effective than the day cream.

No way this product has 15% glycolic acid—that would cause a chemical peel (which is why I bought it—for spot treating dark scar areas).It’s nothing but a daily moisturizer cream but wicked expensive. If a cream was 15% acid, it would burn going on freshly shaven skin—this product doesn’t even come close. Very disappointed

I love everything about this cream! I’ve been lucky enough to get it for $4.99 at local retailers. I usually buy most of their stock when I do find it. I use both the day and night formulas.

This product really does work!! It delivers the glycolic acids perfectly in the form of a soothing cooling and hydrating cream! Ive used glycolic pads in the past prescribed by dermatologist and all left my skin feeling tight and dry!! This is perfect and your skin will feel smooth and visibly better more bright and even toned if you have hyper pigment. Get this!!!

Disappointed that product arrived not sealed ....maker says do not use if opened.
