This car play interferences with my car's TPMS system. Since I installed this device, my TPMS malfunctions. My mechanics though it was battery low on the sensors, and replaced the sensors did not solve the issue. last week, I disconnect the device, and TPMS system back to normal.Since it is over 30 days, so I reached out to the seller, seller replied " Since you disconnected the device resolved the issue, it is not the device issue". I don't understand the seller's reasoning logic here, obvious the seller does not want to stand behind their product. Anyway, be aware, it may not work for your car.

really simple to install, android auto works great!

I purchased this item to add Apple Carplay to my 2015 Sorento, which is 1 year short of the automatic software upgrade to the stock head unit allowing Kia owners to receive Carplay. This unit had high points and low points; unfortunately, the low points were too low to even consider keeping it. Even at such a low price point there still needs to be value.The high points: A rich, vibrant screen and fantastic audio (the equalizer was a great feature). The device boots extremely quickly and the connection to my vehicle's Bluetooth was seamless. I have an aux jack, which I didn't need, but the additional audio option was a strong selling pointThe low points: This device did not read or display iOS messages; when I tapped on a message, the Siri icon would flash but the message did not load and there was no audio. Once the screen cleared, the audio connection was severed. The only way I would get my audio back was to cycle through the modes in my vehicle. The power connector was very loose and couldn't be inserted flush with the device. Because these units typically disconnect when removed from power, this was a key miss. I simulated hitting a bump (or the unit), testing to see if the power connection would remain secure, and it wasn't. Countless times it disconnected, and with it, my audio. One simple improvement would be the adoption of a USB-C connector. Likely done in an attempt to keep the connector securely in place when plugged into the vehicle's power port the plug was tighter than necessary. And finally, the feature which made keeping this unit impossible, the cradle. As soon as I unboxed the unit I attempted to connect the unit to the cradle. It fell out. I wasn't even able to simulate my mounting position on the dash without the device falling off the cradle. This was disappointing, since there was an obvious way of securing these types of connections. How much would it cost, per unit? As I told my spouse, there was a way to make this connection secure, ensuring the device would remain mounted, but there's no way I should have to "MacGyver" it. Young folks, you may need to Google that name. I do not wish to leave my device visible when my vehicle is parked and locked, which would make mounting and dismounting it a task with such a shoddy cradle connection.They were so close, I was disappointed having to send it back.

**Update**The company arranged for a replacement....unfortunately the suction/hardware had the same issue. I am still using the car play, but I have had to readjust the way it is secured. Not 100% happy with that, but the professionalism and care the company gave made me raise my review from a 3 star to a 4 star._____Love the actual car play features. Absolutely hate the hardware. The unit itself won’t stay still, have to prop it up so it doesn’t fall over. Have tightened everything as far as I can.The suction does not stick to the mounting disc. Each time I come out to my car, the unit has fallen off the dash and I’ve even attempted to secure it with duct tape but the unit as a whole is so heavy that when it falls, it falls.The hardware is awful. I likely will be returning the unit for hopefully better quality hardware.

Generally it works well, was reasonably easy to install. I had to do a little figuring out as there was not a flat spot on my dash board, but I made it work with one of these:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0772CR74K/However, I have ran into a pretty consistent issue. About 20 percent of the time or so, it will appear as though everything is connected via CarPlay, but I have no audio. No music will play, for instance. I've discovered unplugging power to this thing, waiting a minute or so, then plugging power back in, generally works. A few times I've had to do it twice.If that could be fixed via firmware update, I'd love it and would update my review to be a five-star review.iOS 18 (but did it on 17 too). 15 Pro Max phone if that helps.EDIT: I did a lot more poking around and research and troubleshooting with the audio issues. It turns out it is NOT an issue with this device, but with the SiriusXM CarPlay app. Using this with literally any other app on my phone, it works great. Apparently there are hundreds or thousands of specific complaints with the SiriusXM app not working well. So yes, this device does indeed function amazingly well. Since I switched from the SiriusXM app to mostly Apple's Music app, I haven't had any issues whatsoever.Originally I had 3 stars but since I realized the issue was with SiriusXM and not this device, I am bumping it up to 5 stars.I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me put one in her car but she won't let me. She just wants a brand new car with it built in...
