Assembly was as expected, just take your time with it. It didn't work for my original plan because it was too small, but works great for my alternative plan, and hold all my cook books and gardening book great.

These shelves are great looking, affordable, and sturdy. They are a little shallower than I wanted but still work great and look amazing! Easy to assemble.

For Amazon low priced bookcase I can’t complain. Not floppy not firm. But decent. Shelves are fixed and cabinet is shallow but assembly is easy. Exposed bolts on the side and they won’t mount flush side by side unless you plain it off or sand a little off. But they worked perfect for my needs. My house is from the 1890’s, but remodeled 2013. Found out the they built out around the chimney and created a hollow wall that happened to be 9” deep and these cabinets fit perfectly in that void and turned them into built ins. Don’t mind the pic I haven’t stained the trim yet .

If you’re looking to save money, something cute that can fit with any style, and amazing quality! This is definitely your girl! I’ve bought a few furniture items from Amazon and the stability/quality was not the best so I was a little skeptical that this bookshelf was going to be the same but for the price and the style/size I figured I would give it a shot, and I am so glad I did! It is well worth it and I will likely buy more when I get the space! 20/10! Absolutely worth it 10x over! 😍😍

My old bookshelf broke and this was the first (online) one I bought that seems like it’ll last, it’s a little wiggly given I couldn’t bolt it into the wall, because there’s a window there (but I’m sure with that added step it’d be a lot more stable). Only realized once I added all my books how little room I had left (to my own surprise, buying this I was sure 60+ books were a little too much for an Amazon shelf). I’ll definitely be looking into getting a second one when my collection grows, it was very easy to put together, given my lack of patience when it comes to building furniture, it was an hour or so job for me. I will say it is a bit messy out of the box, styrofoam bits and pieces, a little dusty too, a wipe down and sweep fixed it up nicely, just for warning. For the price though, I’d say it’s worth investing, it’s a solid bookshelf if you’re handy with tools.*update*Yeah, bought a second one; the styrofoam is my only complaint (even though I’m very aware it’s to protect the pieces in transit, I’m just a styrofoam hater). The only issue I had with building the second one is with the door magnets, I do recommend a drill because by the time I got to that step I’d been awake for 20 hours and was too tired to keep toying with the little screwdriver they send you in the box; the doors still close with out it, just don’t securely latch (which I honestly think is just user error lol)I just suck at building things but with all the books they’re weighed down and very sturdy, so do recommend

Product is tall and looks as expected, assembly was fine. Color was off, tan instead of grey. Made everything as tight as it would allow, top sways… this piece won’t make it through a move. But it does do its job.
