(It's quite impressive and essential protection to have when giving to kids to play with)!The back has a handle that folds out and makes a really sturdy stand for the tablet.Sometimes it's hard to find cases for specific devices, and it's very convenient that it comes with this case.Also came with a pre-installed screen protector - another nice touch that saves you time trying to find and install one aftermarket.THE DRAWING STYLUS FUNCTIONS WELLThe stylus offers two tip styles:1. One side is the standard soft rubber touch type2. I bought a tablet to assist with weekend automobile repairs and remodeling. I needed a durable device, so I thought about using a kids' tablet after seeing one used by a take-out restaurant to track online orders. The owner said it was durable and wouldn't easily crack if dropped. So, I looked for an affordable tablet that would suit my requirements and came across the Umidigi G5 Kids tablet.What initially caught my attention was the tablet's affordability. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this kids' tablet was not only a budget-friendly option but also packed with features typically found in more expensive models. It has an excellent screen and dual camera, which takes better pictures than some of my more expensive tablets.The tablet is also highly practical, supporting up to 1TB of external storage, which is particularly useful for storing pictures taken with the dual camera or other files that you might need when the device is offline. This practicality is a key factor in my daily and weekend chores.This tablet is a game-changer when it comes to connectivity. It features dual SIMs, essentially turning it into a large cellphone. During setup, the tablet even has a feature that allows you to transfer data from your old cellphone, making the transition seamless and hassle-free. These connectivity features are convenient and practical for your daily and weekend chores.This tablet's kid/child feature can be disabled by suppressing the kid-specific app. The only drawback of this tablet is its size. While it is over-padded to minimize the risk of it being broken, it is also a feature I need for my weekend or daily chores. The tablet's case also has a backstand that can be used as a handle.The tablet is equipped with a Unisoc T606 chip, which is not the latest or fastest but powerful enough to stream video and play games.Overall, I'm looking forward to using this tablet worry-free for a long time without fearing it being accidentally dropped."

My 1st impression after holding the device(out of the case) was excellent, the unit didn't feel cheap at all but umidigi build quality is usually pretty good as I have a few other devices from them. So this tablet comes pre-configured for kids but can most definitely handle task/apps that adults will use ( just create a 2nd user profile). Since this tablet is primarily kids focused, it comes with a really nice thick impact case and it feels good to the touch and feels like it's a mix between foam and rubber and very durable and as a bonus, it has its own kickstand so the kids can do all their activities at the table. The screen gives you a clean 1080p picture quality that looks really good, I tested this out on YouTube and the sound quality is not to bad neither as each side has its own speaker and also has a standard 3.5m jack for headphones if you need the kids to be quiet. The android OS is very responsive as i have NOT had any stutters or lagging while swiping through the apps. The battery life on this tablet is insane, with 6000mah you could possibly get a few days out of it without charging it. I was able to connect to my Wi-Fi without any issues and this unit has cellular phone capabilities if you want to install a sim card for service with your carrier and it has a dual-sim card slot but slot #2 also works with a microSD card if your need more storage rather than a 2nd line. Last but not least, this tablet has 3 cameras (2 in back, 1 in front) and takes pretty decent pictures for what it is. All in all, this is a really nice tablet for kids and adults 🙌🏾

I picked this Umidigi G5 tablet to replace my old Android tablet and I am very happy with this product.Pros- Excellent build quality for the price. I didn't need the child protective cover but it actually feels quite nice to hands and it doubles as a stand. I like it.- Android 13. No bloatware, very nice. A big upgrade from my old Android 10 tablet.- Screen is quite bright and fonts appear clear. Better than what I expected.- Good battery run time.- Mobile ready. I tested it with a local SIM and it worked! I use mobile data with this tablet when travel.- Decent RAM and on board 128GB storage, more than enough for me.- Acceptable speed. I didn't expect it to be lightening fast and it is certain sufficient for every day internet browsing and media streaming.Cons- Speaker is on the tiny size. Don't expect any full volume output. But for me, I paired it with a Bluetooth speaker or headphones when I use it for music and media streaming. Not a big issue for me.- Can it be snappier? Of course but keep in mind this is a low cost tablet and I am quite pleased with the performance to price ratio.In summary, I am happy with this tablet. I can recommend it for anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced Android tablet whether it is for a child or adult use. It has built in parent control function but I haven't tried it.
